Never read the forum with tired eyes.. I thought Blade Master Model 42 said, could you ransom a Goblin general for a piece of furniture.  *chuckle*
Somehow, I imagine most of us would rather take the piece of furniture.

To be fair, if the goblins offered an artifact table, I'd at least consider the offer...

Honestly, I'd likely rather take an -obsidian table- and a continuing flow of goblinite.

No, it's a quite accurate depication. After all, dwarven ghosts have shown the ability to "lose" items and even harm or kill dwarves!

Yep.

As for the males, it would simulate erectile dysfunction. After all, Viagra didn't exist back then!!!
Neither did a lot of the artery-clogging convenience "food" that ruins the circulatory system, interferes with blood flow in the penis and causes the sort of ED that Viagra treats.
Yay, science! So...probably some caste-level tags, something like [INFERTILITY:X:Y], where X and Y are the minimum and maximum ages where the creature can get to be infertile.

I'm not sure; "doesn't care for others" =/= "likes to hurt others." Granted, high sadism should be linked to low altruism, but not nessisarily the other way around. Not everyone who puts themselves first and cares not for the rest is a horrible torturer.

Agreed, I don't think "We can time-skip!" is a good reason to say "Let's have fortress mode slowed to a crawl!"

I don't see why we can't have two time speeds. One fast, one slow. Slow allows for micro management of combat and the like, fast for actually getting swathes of things done.
Have your cake and eat it too.
I'm not sure why we need the second speed at all, to be honest. It would require a lot of tinkering and fixes for what seems, to me, to be not needed at all.

Well, when you suggest that the ground turn to sand in dry areas and don't really say that you need to think of a better term, I foolishly assume that you mean that the ground shouls turn into soil with the [SAND] token.
