<You're way too cocky, you know that? It's not a good characteristic. Just because we're fighting doesn't mean we need help in doing so.>
<You want him to not help?>

"So. You met a witch, who told you to kill Mallory for reasons you don't know, to alleviate the boredom..."

Will grins.
"If I promise to fix you up with something that will keep you entertained for at least several years and potentially eternity, would you agree to help us defeat Nimue, retrieve the Grail, and so forth?"

Level up for everyone! Grats. Everyone gets two attribute points to spend.

Rubra and Carl haven't used any skills yet.
Hardly my fault.

Try lol. Or at least if you have to kill it try not to do to much damage. I can use the summon body to repair some damage.
1. This game isn't all about you. If it's a choice between "Don't Get Hurt" and "Get Trebor Another Pet," the former gets priority every time.
2. Seriously. This isn't IMing.

If they were summoners I'd feel it bud. He's the one who set the rule that summoners can feel summons to begin with. Maybe 1-2 of them that I didn't see can but not all.
It's up to Sanure you know.
It's entirely possible that your sense isn't as acute as you imagine. Or that it isn't as long-ranged. Or that there are ways of concealing oneself from it.

A summoner who has a summon is bound to it no matter how far from the stone they might be. Any summoner worth his salt has at least 1 summon and I'd sense it's presence. If one of them is a summoner he's so junior he'd probably explode if he tried to summon a demon.
...assuming that the summon is out. And, again, able to be sensed. Are you going to claim you can sense every summon in the whole world?

What's been going on, anyways?

AL: EXPERIENCE CONCERNED FATHERLY RAGE
+1

Cherish: Avoid turning this into a deadly manga. Escape in a decidedly non-manga-like style!
Al: Retreat to a slightly longer range, barter the Hellyfish!
I can't see how this could be interpreted in a bad way.
Ciro, Ripreaver: Attack again!
Goom-Bess: Approach to maximum scanning range, scan.

"Interesting."

Attempt to determine if there is a pattern in the meaning of runes.

-snip-
Probably going to change them some more, this is just some initial ideas. Fire away though if you have an opinion.
Springs to mind quickly:
Why is Headshot moved to third rank* rather than being the entry ability? And why is Battle Scanner moved to the top?
I like how the HEAT ammo and Shredder Rocket are at the same level. Special ammo or special rocket?
What would happen if you moved Fire Rocket to another place, or better yet another class?

*Can't remember most of the ranks' positions.

So I finally took the time to finish the Normal run, and holy fuck Mental Feedback is powerful when you have high Will soldiers. Two of the three final Ethereals were killed by Feedback, including the Uber-Ethereal.
Remind me, how did these idiots figure out FTL travel?

And yes, the obvious error is not an error.  Bear in mind that In the Zone should require the sniper rifle.
That's the obvious error?

Assaults wouldn't get lightning reflexes in this.
That's insane. Assaults freaking need Lightning Reflexes.

Here's an idea: Multiclassing. (Probably mixed with being able to give rookies rocket launchers, machine guns, shotguns, or sniper rifles, if you wanted to accept lowered hit chances.) Thoughts on how it could work?

"So, you just listened to a witch who you met tonight."
"Well... Yeah."
"Why did you do what she told you to?"

"What do you know about...Nimue?"

Spell stones can take just about any color that normal stone can. Incidently, Spell stones can be made from any stone. Just higher quality stones make more. Also, A summoner is the only person who is able to sense and determine spell stones. Otherwise they look like normal rocks.
Mind if I imagine them to be spherical and two-colored?

Sorry. The little things already became attached to me.
We just need a little soap and water to fix that.

So? It's odd.
Why? The text colors are to distinguish between our individual characters, not for team identification, so it doesn't matter if a red team member speaks in blue.
And?
Again. It's odd. It makes the blue-speakers sound like traitors.
