Sub: Wounded in hospital

If a dwarf is wounded due to falls, wild beasts, or other dangers, s/he will most likely resta and wait for the lazy chief medical dwaf to stop ignoring them. Until then, they will likely not retrieve their own food.
Many of you have nothing to do somethimes. Here's and idea: Feeding starving miners and such is far more important than stockpiling clay.

First, 'grats on feeding the miner. See if you can apply that idea to aged livestock.
However...remember the other wounded guy? The broker? When I said anyone could trade, that did not just mean her. it couldhave been Urist McEngraver, Urist McMason, Urist McWoodWorker, or even Urist McCrushedByAFallingCeilingHahaYouWereUseless's pet cavy for all I care!

Wow, those first two were fast...
Now I have a new problem. I have no clue how the health care system works. Did you know that a one-z-level-fall onto n upward slope is actually a two-z-level-fall onto a downward slope? Yes? No? Eithr way, how do I get my chief medical dwarf to tie a splint to my miner's leg?

Braining them while using their guts as a whip.

My favorite touch I noticed recently is the newly added adventurer descriptions in legends mode, adventurers now can be "universally agreed as the vanguards of destiny" or "of divine parentage" instead of the single description from earlier versions.
That description varies by if you made a demigod, hero, or peasant level adventurer.

I want to stop my miners from collecting clay instead of, well, mining. To do this, I need to know what labor collecting clay falls under. The wiki seems to be down, or at least Ican't figure out why I can't get to it. In short, I turn to the best-but-slowest resource I have acess to: You guys.

How do I stop miners from collecting clay?

Take one adventurer. Remove all soldiers from the nearby forts. Add one party of bandits, ambushing the adventurer while he is trying to find a populated fortress. Kiss your adventurer goodbye. Repeat as necessary.

You're REALLY, REALLY lucky to be able to recruit a demon. Demons will only allow you to recruit them if they're prisoners.

And this one's as tough as a *dump truck* and twice as big.
...What imprisons demons and where can I find it?

If we just give monsters random goals, it will deem like alien intelligence. Especially if all relate to one thing. it doesn't have to make sense-we aren't alien to ourselves.

After making an aqueduct, I discovered that putting a water source over a grate over a well over a tunnel in which the water is drained off will flood all three areas.

Then I got some migrants.
