She doesn't reply to Will due to no bracelet.
We really need to set a time of how long someone needs to be with the group before we can assume s/he got a bracelet at some point.

the problem is not wether or not it will be used that way, but the problem is that it can be used that way without any penalty or repercussion. Imagine it like a brokenly overpowered gun in an FPS. Just because you can turn off the overpowered secondary fire mode and use the okayish main fire mode doesn't make the gun any less broken, nor does it guarantee that you'll whip out secondary fire whenever it damn well is convenient
You misunderstand.
If I abused Nuriel's power to make a sun, I would be called out on it and Elf would put a stop to it.
If I abuse Will's power unreasonably, I'll be getting more people than the one who keeps arguing over everything I do that doesn't fit into her view of what I can complaining about it, and again Elf would put a stop to it.

Yeah...I beat Normal with only two deaths...and I was pretty terrible at the game.
*grumbles*

Speed is still a factor, so you would have damage applied to your hands. You may be looking at a broken bone to a bruise depending on size, speed and trajectory.
Hainawule wouldn't be travelling that fast. Her bones would be smaller than the bones in Will's hands, so if they would be damaged by stopping so would Hai's, when she lit upon the opposite wall or whatever.

"The one on Kyle's server?"

[To: Yomiko] <Hi, Yomiko. I've noticed you hanging around me a few times. I was wondering if there was anything you wanted to talk about.>

"You are literaly as dense as lead. What part of *game of pretend* don't you understand? The game had already begun at that point. Geez, you really have never played with children, have you? Let me translate it for you, because clearly you prefer to take everything I say while playing with a child at face value. "So, how do we play Ninja?". You were probably born after 20 years or pregnancy, and your baby toes were tax forms."

"Then why the hell did you need to know how they trained?"
((You really can't blame Will for this one.))

Single for would be seventy five and then eighty with a level up...

He's behind on points actually. Also you need at least one point in all stats.
The only stat he lacks points in is Magic, which is logical since he doesn't use magic and Elf said superpowers are based on Mind.

stop restricting the practise to just the event at hand. I am speaking more general. The abuse potential is absolutely immense. The only "drawback" is that it costs Mana, and as I've said, Mana regeneration in this game is pointlessly huge, so it's just a strawman drawback to point at when trying to explain the non-broken-ness.

it's an ability that always makes you know exactly what to do, and now it even gives you the ability to do so. It's simply broken. It's a permanent 22-point stat increase, at no cost whatsoever.
Why are you assuming that it will always be used to replace Dex?

that being said, yes, it is that difficult, especialy if the attack comes from behind. When a ball is thrown at you, knowing where it will go is just half the rent. You also need to be able to move very fast and very precise. Your power is intuition, not reflexes or coordination. Knowing exactly every theorethical step of a waltz wont make you not step on some toes
And yet, once you know where a ball is, it's positively easy to catch if it's thrown straight at you. Even a child can do it.

<I swear...upon the name of the Creator, Shis’m Caes.>
<...I see. Well, it made more sense for God to be a maternal figure in the first place anyways.
Shys'm Caes is a maternal name?
And your BBCode is overly complex.

"How do you play which, Meme?"

6472
Are you accounting for the fact that single-form characters get more points? And that Will got a level up?

6473
<Anyways... can you help send Meme in so she can try the gear? Oh, and Hai as well once you are done arguing. Also, tell her that I'll make her something neat if she stop arguing.>
<Not until they're willing and ready to.>
"Hey, Kyle's bugging me about you two getting to his game. Don't indiscriminately apply stuff from that game to the real world, it's a game."

"Will, sometimes you are just incredibly dense. We are having fun. It's a *game*. Let's play ninja. A game pf pretend for us to have fun with Meme. It's more like a mix of hide-n-seek and tag. Nobody here is teaching anyone any kills.
Did you have no childhood or do you take everything at face value? Is police and robber giving her a training al law enforcement or at stealing stuff? Is playing a game of Cowboy and Indian teaching her the joys of genonocide? Stop taking everything at face value. For all the brains you have, you are immensely stupid sometimes."
"Ahem. Let me remind you of what you said..."
"Hmm..so how do we do ninja training? I have no clue how they trained..."
((Imagine Will doing a slightly mocking impersonation of Hai's voice.))
"When you're concerned about how ninja actually trained...that moves it beyond the sphere of play."

6474
What part of "Move hand to spot near head" is so super-difficult?

Once you have a bit of knowledge of where the object is going to go, catching it is easy. Think of it as juggling one ball, except you only need to catch it and you have a superpower that lets you forsee where it will go.
Or as catching a ball with such a superpower. Either or.

6475
<Will, you do realize she has had enough time here to show off maturation mentally.>
<Correct, she has. I'm confident she won't be significantly maturing mentally in the forseeable future, by which I mean the future before some event or combination of events has changed our life past the point it's worth planning that far ahead.>

"Pressure her? She is just giving it a test run for the sheer fun of it. Nobody is pressuring her into any sort of training."
"You were considering where to go to give a toddler ninja training. Which is what I was objecting to."

It's not that I don't like the idea, it's that I'm surprised it's so popular.

I'm not getting this point across clearly, am I?

((Oh hey people actually care about OOC now!
Wow..that really brightens my heart. Thanks guys for caring out loud. I'm biased and have been biased when I say this due to recent events.

This, however, is just a matter due to those who have lacking self control in arguments. :/

I'm also further backing This.))

They're not that many really. I know of only six, of which I have run three. In comparison, there's a much larger amount of medieval strategy games around, or freeform RP's or evolution games.
t seems like the gimmicky kind of game that happens once, maybe with a couple copycats if it's popular.
After all, the schtick gets boring for most folks after a while if you don't get to actually do anything with the ships (e.g, take over the galaxy).

6479
"I know, Meme. I don't want you to fight anyone, Fingerling or not."

6480
There's still a difference between knowing what to do and actually doing it.
Again, the actually-doing-it part is a lot easier than you're making it out to be.

Also, simply from a game point of view, that would means your statpool is 40 points higher than it actually would be, because your mind stat is used as the dex stat as well, at no downsides
1. No, Will cannot use his Mind stat for everything dexterity can do. Only some things, and only with an explanation given if demanded.
2. I'd call not having any kind of superhuman ability past that (unless you count "Dispense Plot Information") a pretty big downside. When Will has to measure up to living flamethrowers, shy girls who can make anything, and lilliputians who can paralyze people with a poke, he needs something to be more than Mr. Exposition. (And so far, he hasn't been much more.)
3. Will has a Dexterity of 18. Even if his Mind applied to everything, he would only be 12 points ahead of the curve, not 40.

and yeah, what Kyle said, it does come from behind, but that is besides the point. Theory =/= Practise
Well, putting aside that Elf said that Will's power applies to practice, the use I was having Will use it for--determining Hai's trajectory--is 100% theory.
