Nice pic. I especially like the little floating debris.

I know! I'll learn magic from Gandalf! Then we can do everything!
Does he do any magic that not a light from a top his staff?
He beats up a balrog. Dunno how much of that was magic, though.
He also makes a bunch of fiery...wait, that was fireworks.
...
EXTRA EXTRA READ ALL ABOUT IT! GANDALF IS A FRAUD!

Also, GWG, didn't you say you have all of the Second Wave options on? You might want to turn some of those off, especially Red Fog.
I assume that that's from EW? Which I don't have?
EDIT: I have never beaten the game. Ever. Not available.

Also:
Anyone want to back this guy up? I'm a bit wary about downloading stuff from the advice of one guy I don't even recognize.
A bit of an explanation of how it helps or the problem Steam causes wouldn't hurt.

<Like, OMG! Truth or Dare!? Can I like, play?>
Oh Gods in the endless skies protect me...
<Truth or dare, Beth?>
<Truth!>
<Hm. That's the less interesting one. Any suggestions, guys?>

Kyle leans down and kisses Yomiko's head.
"I had fun as well."
"Oh did you, now?"
Will is smirking and maybe fifteen feet from Kyle, leaning against a wall.

No, they won't. They'll be a little confused, perhaps, but mostly amused.
They were only afraid when Legolas did it because he was backing up the insane, stupid moves with deadly accuracy. Also because he was in a movie where that worked.

Spoiler: OOC (click to show/hide)
I'm trying to help both sides find a reasonable conclusion that doesn't involve the permanent death or lobotomy of anyone's character.

Moreover, you're overlooking something. This is a game. If someone is taking actions that reduce or ruin the fun of others, and allegedly themselves, we should try to find other available alternatives. Permakilling Simus? That's pretty severe.
((I'm just gonna respond to this quote: did it occur to you that such excessive use of OOC chatter (not just from you, of course, but you've been staunchly refusing to stop and even goading UP back into the argument) "reduces or ruins" my fun? Probably the fun of others, too.
In fact it's probably the single worst thing about ER for me- the constant OOC discussion, even at the expense of IC interaction between characters.))
Then don't read it. We're even putting it into nice little OOC spoilers for you.
You can just choose not to read the OOC chatter. Pyro can't choose to not have her character be permakilled if Auron succeeds. UP can't choose to not have Auron lobotomized if Simus and Steve conclude that that's the only way to stop him from trying.

Quote
Whatever path Auron decides to take from here, is not something you should be arguing with Unholy_Pariah about, because the character and his player are functionally separate, and this is a role-playing game.
((As I asked UP, please read this.
This is a game, people need to have fun. If peoples' actions, like trying to permakill Simus, are going to make the game less fun, we should try and work around them, shouldn't we?))
((This is the entire problem, pyros actions have constantly prevented me from getting any enjoyment out of this game ever since Simus stepped out of that anomaly.

All i wanted was to build a robot and watch it rampage through the UWM landing parties, but no... instead ive gotta choose between several weeks of constant bickering or several weeks of wasted effort and a blood fued with another player.
The problem with that was, you were taking everyone's resources. If you wanted to just build a kludgebot with your own resources, no one would have given a damn. But you demanded the right to fritter away resources on the kludgebot.

Quote
Seing as everyone is really pissed about the constant OOC arguments (albiet understandably so) and the fact im frankly tired of it im not gonna be responding to any directed at me unless they are PMed.))
Suit yourself.
((Incidentally...))

Grate wanders over to Auron and Jim.
"What's going on?"
"Jim and myself are having a philosphical discussion over what constitutes a murder and why aggravated assault is more worthy of punishment as well as the ramifications such a justice system."
"..." Grate looks at Auron confused...ly? Is confusedly a word?
"Mister Jim, what's going on?"

((Disagreeing with your use of OOC. And people's OOC opinions should have as little influence as possible on their IC actions anyway.
((Well, several other people are also using OOC. Including UP, whose main tactic for getting the spiderbot as he wants it is the OOC threat that if he doesn't he'll try to kill Simus.
Moreover, you're overlooking something. This is a game. If someone is taking actions that reduce or ruin the fun of others, and allegedly themselves, we should try to find other available alternatives. Permakilling Simus? That's pretty severe.))

((GWG, no single character in the game will be able to "screw up" the game. Not as long as the GM wants to run it. Therefore, in-character responses are preferred to out-of-character arguments, no matter what consequences the former have for everyone else.
((The problem is that UP's arguments include a good out-of-character component. That, and it would be horribly out-of-character for Grate to suggest to Auron that he try ruining Simus's career rather than killing her.))

Quote
Whatever motivations either of them have, no in-character action is going to "screw up" this game more than all this out-of-character back-and-forth verbal bar-brawling does.))
((I disagree. This debate has the potential to make the Auron-Simus conflict much, much more interesting--and enjoyable for the parties involved--than Auron just trying to kill Simus again.))

((GWG, no-one is agreeing with you. Nobody appreciates the constant OOC bickering.
((The latter is true. The former is not. Many people want Auron to resolve this in a way that doesn't come at a risk of permakills, including Unholy_Pariah.))

Hey, I grew up in a culture where brazen wit was the way you handled disputes.
((Could you define "brazen" as it is used in this context?))
((Not without getting an infraction from Toady again.))
((Oh. Not so great, then.))

Mainly that I personally consider text to be an easier medium to post on forums.

That, and I really like the abbr tag. Especially for ASCII games.

((And yes im well aware of the hypocrisy of that final paragraph seeing as im going to do the exact same thing, but i dont care.
((Think long and hard about what you've written, UP. And also consider other alternatives.
Finally, consider this. Pretty much everyone is against you. That's a damn good sign that you're probably wrong.))
((Ive considered the alternatives. they all end in me surrendering all my free will and/or watching my beetletank get destroyed thus making the past several weeks a complete waste of time, neither of which are acceptable options.

My only acceptable options are argue now and revenge on failure. Pyro on the other hand has the ability to end this right now, all Simus needs to do is say "fine let him keep the damn tank." Then threaten to destroy it and or auron if he goes back on his word to replace the cannon and repair the ships.))
((I notice how you say your only options are "Simus gives me what I want or I take the most destructive path of vengeance on her".))

But yeah, while he doesn't have a real good shot at... doing much of anything, really, if it's in-character for Auron to get righteously furious over the situation, have at...
((If his IC responses are going to screw up the game, reconsider. Like I said, there are other options. Auron could try politely reasoning with Simus in hopes of getting what he wants. If he doesn't, he could cut his losses to avoid losing more, and if that's unacceptable he could take a more subtle path to vengeance. I believe I suggested trying to ruin Simus's career?))

Page 78:
Go back to the intersection and head straight.
(Right when coming from the room.
Also, sometimes going the same way at different times has different outcomes, so this might.
Hopefully.)
Straight as in when you're coming to the intersection from the room with the bed and whatnot in it, it is to your right side.
GRAB EVERYTHING
I meant 'go to the goblin corpse from the minotaur'.
I need to be less confusing.
Alright...let's see if I get this right.
You want to ignore the minotaur's question, turn around, and loot the goblin.

Page 10: Run
This should be an option for the book, you know.
Indeed.

If you flee in terror, go to the next page.
You turn around and flee in terror, getting lost. You stop at a fork in the corridors, thinking you smell fresh air!
Unfortunately, you're not sure which way it is...

Never mind how old she looks, she is only a weak old.
Regardless, how old she looks is important in determining how much people will be weirded out by the flirting.
