Dive-bomb the Tollman, impaling him in my bill.

Basically a gravity-assisted Move and Attack.

-snip-
Voila! A party and plot assembled united by the reasoning of trying to track down who and why someone was ordered to attack the heroes.
...and shot down by lack of phone chargers.
Still hoping it comes to fruition.

I guess I need to specify. THERE SEEMS TO BE A FUCKING TAIL ON JAMES!
*sigh*
Yes, kj, usually pants bulges are assumed to be on the other side if you don't specify.

But, again, how many people think they have screwed up enough to go to Hell? Especially since some of the more popular modern religions with Heaven and Hell send you to Heaven just for believing?
<_< again, you're misunderstanding.
What you believe the entry requirements are is immatterial.
THEY make that choice.
Your belief only decides who gets to make it.
Oh!
...
What about people who follow different versions of God, who have different "entry requirements" or completely lack an afterlife?

I agree with GWG, there should be no problem running at least 2 plots simultanously

unless I am the only one who bothered to outline the plot and get it approved, Elf should have a fair idea which ideas overlap and which do not
And if he's feeling really sneaky, he might be able to suggest which could interact more directly.
P.S. If we do that, the players should probably share at least the general outlines of their plots.

Sen wonder's why he called a statue that looks creepy cute.
It's Kyle.

She has obviously hacked the game.
Yomiko, Yomiko, Yomiko. It's unethical to hack the game to get an unfair advantage.
Do what Uncle Will does and use your powers to get an unfair advantage.

((Atlas: Clay statue, STR 10, CON 10, DEX 2, MAG 1, MIND 2, No powers, about 8 ft tall.))
You called that thing Atlas? Sure, it might be able to out-wrestle normal people or small children, but most of the team has higher Strengths and such. I'm not sure if it would even deserve the name Achilles.

Kyle shrugs.
"I don't know. Normal brother things?"
I highly doubt the "normal".

"I have two standards. Anyone who is mentally, or looks, younger than sixteen and family... I have really low standards."
I'm pretty sure you've taken the first step to recovery.
Or at least the first part of the first step.

In between bites he makes slightly flirty conversation.
Dammit Kyle, you're supposed to have standards! Now you're probably going to get put on a sex offender registry if anyone's paying attention.

Spoiler: Dare (click to show/hide)
Dare! Dare!

<Probably proposing to my a friend from my childhood. Loudly. In the middle of a hospital. Next to my parents and a doctor. Said childhood friend was female and I happen to be heterosexual. Truth or Dare?>
...Wait what?

<Hey, that doll is made to follow Lyle's orders. Also, may have made it stalk him as a primary goal.>
<That goal seems counterproductive to the "Follow Lyle's Orders" thing...>
"Lyle, apparently she follows your orders. Try telling her to stop stalking you."

Then she remembers why she sought Will out

Are you still working on that server you developed?
"I was delayed by Kyle filling my room with notes, but yes."

Yomiko is now hovering a foot of the ground using her unhidden wings.
This is drawing even more attention than Kyle flirting with a girl who looks to be about nine.

<lkjdhfklsjbnilusdhf,sdjfhlkh T.this is a stupid game!>
<You agreed to it. Be glad she didn't ask you to dance naked in front of me or something humiliating like that.>

<What does it matter? He can hear us after all, he'll know that the letter is disingenuous~>
<I'm insulted that you don't think I could anyways.>

See? You're learning. When you get frustrated, switch to CI. It's like training while wearing weights, when you get to the actual thing you were practicing for it will be worlds easier.
CI?
Classic Ironman. It should really be IC, though, since II is usually Ironman Impossible instead of vice versa. On another note, I'd also recommend only playing Ironman. It's better to just not have the temptation to savescum.
I haven't ever (intentionally) savescummed ever. And I suspect that Ironman's autosaves-without-absurd-numbers-of-backups would be very useful indeed...
And I'm mostly trying Impossible to see how well I do. And I've been giving it some thought, and realized that the sectoids on Mission One are superior in basically every way...
Spoiler: Explanations (click to show/hide)

Annoyed by that $20 I spent on a game that apparently overloads my video driver thingy, I decide to try something...interesting.
Who wants to take bets on how long I last on Impossible difficulty? (Also, all of the base Second Wave adjustments were enabled.)
There is a fix to the video card problem. It's actually an issue with Steam. There is a third party program which disables something called 'Steam CEG' or something like that, which will make the game run properly though it has to be run prior to starting the game every time you restart your computer.
Anyone want to back this guy up? I'm a bit wary about downloading stuff from the advice of one guy I don't even recognize.
A bit of an explanation of how it helps or the problem Steam causes wouldn't hurt.

I got the worst mission name ever today.
Indeed.

The choice I had for my Sergeant Sniper was either Suppression, {which might have been awesome with the Plama Sniping Rifle}, or Rapid Reaction, {a second reaction shot if on Overwatch and the first hits}.  I don't know if I'd play with training roulette next time, but it certainly has been fun.
Spoiler: What a choice (click to show/hide)
btw: I chose Rapid Reaction.
I bet the choice for Corporal was tough...

Also, stop counting. I remember in EU, when I started trying to beat II (Which I still have yet to do.), I went from game 8 (Classic Victory) to game 50+. In case you're wondering, in the load-game menu, it tells you the number game that file is.
I know. I...I kinda play the game too.
And I'm not counting by the game number; I threw that off early by Game 1 crashing without being saved. I lost Game Two and Game 3 is stalled by graphics issues.

I only just understood that II stood for Ironman Impossible. I was all "'two'? what's a 'two' run? is it DLC?"
Took me a while too.

Will takes the bits and teleports away from them.
((... How the hell does Will keep getting over here?))
((GODDAMMIT I MEANT CALVIN.))

Actually, I specifically built it so that it didn't contradict yours in any way.
The demons would be fully capable of having their economy, as anyone that they managed to sway could easily be made to believe in hell, I mean it's kinda a big thing nowadays, and at this point there aren't many people left who don't believe in it, so demons of Nuriel's rank wouldn't know the difference because, again, recently there haven't been many people who don't believe in hell.
All I did was make the meta a bit more interesting than the boring old heaven/hell dichotomy.
And don't pretend yours wasn't, heaven being a machine and hell being basically anarchy and shit are pretty much par for the course.
I never pretended it wasn't a similar dichotomy, but Heaven is basically nothing but a bureaucracy (not terribly unusual, but typically not paired against a Hell) and Hell is more or less like a combination of a corporate battlefield and medieval Europe, but the powerful people all have magic.

And what fraction of people do you think believe they will go to Hell, one way or another? That requires a massive scaling down of Hell away from what I said...and it also completely contradicts the mechanism, explained at least once or twice.

I think the Hellish economy should break. Just for funzies.
Then break it.

((Time to get planning then. I was just asking for a RU estimate, because I don't want to research something I can't afford.))
((You need an idea of how to work out all those issues before you can do that, though.))

((Just for the record, Baneblades aren't *that* tough in the WH40k universe. They just require an AP shell to break open a hole to put an HE shell through.
((Well, in this universe, the Imperial Guard wouldn't be a laughable force of red shirts so much as a force of undertrained, well-equipped recruits capable of killing people with a single shot.))

((My character has a tear of Timmy in his chest?  This is either going to be really cool or really bad.))
((Too bad Lyra doesn't know what a Tear of Timmy is, even though I do.))
((I suggest you radio the team and ask what it is.))
((How would she identify it, double-poster?))

6568
"And who made you to do that?"
<Sen, why are you bugging Lyle?>

6569
Less "Good Christian person," more "Fit to be a cog in the machine".

And I'd have no problem with your version, if I hadn't established mine so firmly. And built it into the core of the hellish economy.

6570
Do you have any suggestion for the somewhat tired GM?
Villains? A plot? A mission? Anything except screwing around?
Or, barring that, make the screwing around more interesting!
