"Because I don't know it was a mistake or previous experiences caused it."
"Ah. Does it matter?"

Page 10:
Reason with the Minotaur
[20!]
If you talk with the minotaur, turn to page 78.
You try talking with the minotaur, reasoning with him. Basically, using words to get the bull-beast not to kill you.
It works.
“I’m glad to have met you, little one. I was attacked by a dragon, and the next thing I know I’m here, covered in little goblins. Do you know how to get out?”
“No, I’m sorry,” you reply.
“We’ll just have to find a way out, I guess...any ideas?”

Page 1:

Turn Right
[17]
To go right, turn to page 16.
You go down the corridor and to the right, discovering on the way a strange corpse. It’s about as big as you, and humanoid in shape, but when you shift the robe’s hood aside to get a good look at it you realize just how inhuman it is. Green-orange flesh, no nose, irisless eyes, oversized ears...it’s a goblin.
You could take its robe and weapons and such, but that could slow you down...and it probably smells.

That went well for everyone.

Hainuwele proposes a game of prank calls next. From her bracelet, she calls Sen, distorting her voice best as she can.

"Hello, is this Sen Sen? I am from the local organisation of food safety, and have to ask, is your refridgerator running?"
"Dey know by signature, dat no work." Meme shakes her head.
<Also, bracelets don't have a connection to the phone network. And you kinda broadcasted that on an open channel.>

"... That's not at all helpful."
"And why do you say that?"

6755
((I thought Calvins ability to interact with stuff was rather limited? Wouldn't the punches he throws be incredibly weak?))
Yes. Yes, they would be.

Also, could we get interlinking between the OPs of the Ic and OOC threads?

6756
[25+20]
Yup. Those punches are weak. But cathartic.

6757
"Did you look at my pref string?"
"I try not to pry. Besides, I already know about your yaoi kick."

((Would that be a good thing, or a "Syfy Original Movie" thing?))

-snip-
Thats what makes me think they arent in my skull, so chances are they are measuring the brains electrical activity instead of its chemical production and aurons brain just had a jiggawatt flowing through it.
((If your brain had a "jiggawatt" charge flowing through it, you would be permadead. Hell, if your brain had a significant charge flowing through it, you would be dead or brain-damaged. The shocking stuff is probably more in the peripheral nervous system, or maybe the spinal column. Or, you know, not (directly) affecting the nervous system at all. Moreover, if electrical activity was disrupted enough that Steve couldn't detect it, it would be disrupted enough that you would likely be somewhere on a continuum between "comatose" and "even more insane than HMRC folks". Oh, and the hostile action was taken after recovering from the shock. Again, if brain activity was still disrupted by that point, you would be experiencing mental difficulties of some sort.))

2:External sensors can monitor a lot more than just electrical activity. They can (and Steve would more than likely have) measure blood pressure, pulse, respiration, body temperature, blood-oxygen saturation, motion, skin conductivity, and probably more.))
((That too.))

"Of course, nobody would had died if only you had been competent and followed the directions given to you, now would they?"
((Wrong. Only one could escape, by design, and the others--even if they survived to see the missile--would have been killed afterwards, by the self-destruct or by angry Soviet agents. Unless, perhaps, we stole some ships despite this not being anywhere in the directions.))

And GWG, don't you dare say "slippery slope".
((I only say that when slippery slope arguments are in play.
...
*scans for SSF*
Oh, that. It's not quite SSF, it's more of argumentum ad absurdium.))

Angel does not calm down. She is basically ignored. Jerks.
Well, she's crying a bit less now.

6761
((How would anyone know Calvin did anything? He's using his imaginary friend, and hasn't shown any indication of his power.))

((You can do it. Note that if it escalates into a real fight that prefects always are above you by ten points.))
((No fighting prefects, gotcha.))
((...also, is this d20 or d%?))

6762
1. Unless Hai is offering targeted massage, it's accupuncture.

2. How about we start worrying about the recursives?
-d20, like the original
-Stats: Agility, Endurance, Intelligence Magic, Strength
-25 per form
-Someone needs to volunteer to be IC!scapheap (ideally not Elf or someone playing in the IC!RotMG)

HK-47 shrugs.
Will gets to work programming.
[29+40]
[84+40]
It takes some time, but Will makes the program and installs it on HK-47.
"Excellent."
<Yuri, you there?>

((just imagine the heavy russian accent, too annoying))
Great, now I'm imagining her talking in the Heavy's voice.
(Because that's the best Russian accent I can think of, mostly. Although the phrasing didn't help...)

She is really getting loud now.
And this also failed to change stuff.

Grigoria turns to David.

"Interrupting my speech will change nothing. The end of the world will come before your live will ever have mattered."
"...said people a hundred publicized times last century. People keep predicting the end of the world, it keeps not ending."

"Say, do you any of you fear death? And the slow, and disgusting decay of the flesh, as it rots around your soul, that predates it?"
"You've got it backwards, miss. Decay comes after death."
Hey kj, if Xantalos can have Meta!Darnos, can I have Meta! Will?

"I am Aoi Futaba."
Aoi extends her hand to shake Jacque's.
"My...gifts are to do with command of the wind."
"Pleasure's all mine, love." She takes the hand, shaking it. "Chu readin'?"
She happens to be reading "The House of Midnight", a series about a magical academy where only the most gifted of mages go.
"Huh. Seems a bit like this place... Albiet hopefully we won't end up with quite so much sex."
((Let it be noted that Calvin's views are not my own.))
"What's the problem with that?"

"Limiteed mortals. Vhen veel you open your eyez and reealise that this akademee is meaningless. For tvousands of years, those that bear the gift have reached heigds you cand eeven dream off, without any akademee"
She would feel someone tapping on her shoulder. Or maybe punching it weakly.

"The end of the world cometh. Chained in heaven are they. Seven is their number. Bred in depth of ocean, neither male nor female are they they are as the howling wind, which knoweth not mercy, which knoweth nor mercy."
Calvin listens to Hainawule intently.
"Neat."

"Compared to you lifestock, an existance like mine only happens once every millenium. Do not compare me to you germs."
She would now feel someone punching her repeatedly. And kicking her some.
((Should I roll or do you want to, kj?))
