yaktaurs
So... yakbulls?
arghblargh grammar nazi rage
Which brings me to a question I've sometimes wondered...
What are the etymological roots of "centaur" and "minotaur," and are they related? I kinda doubt "centaur" is derived from "hundred" and "bull"...

And uh, sorry Harry. But hey, I notice that my new status has absolutely no penalty to magical actions!
Except, apparently, for a lack of pattern recognition.
He does not have poor pattern recognition! He's just a bit reckless. And sometimes short-tempered when people insult him.

((I think despite your lack of training in it, your action would be better spent preparing/casting a healing spell. I'm pretty sure that's the only real option for him to not die at this point.
Let the others dig him out, then hopefully you can not suck enough to keep him stable.
Then maybe have Baldur and Felice come bail me out and I can come heal him better.
PLANNING))
((Can't really move, or shouldn't at least. Maybe if others had actions to A. dig him out and B. get him over to me...))

((Time spent crafting this reply: 3.5 hours. This is draft number 9))
((You left out lack of knowledge about the craft--the vital point of the vital objective--being completely unknown to you.))

Angel is still in breakdown mode. "Psychological," not "Dancing".

YEEES!
I mean, OOOW!
Also...not sure if I proved my point, or his.

Also:

What does he...recognise?

Try to lie in a comfortable position without straining anything.
Use earth magic to try and manipulate the rubble off of Lyu.

EditEdit: Here's a in-browser dice roller, D4 - D(you set sides).

You're welcome.
I personally like random.org, but it doesn't have a multidie option.

...and you completely missed the point of TCM's post: May's trying to insinuate to Erin that Milno has herpes so she can monopolize her.  :P
((Oh...))

Mm, did my character just fade away or did one of you take up on the characters promise to kill him? Because I'm thinking of getting back in once I've figured out how many turns have gone by.
((I don't think anyone's threatened to kill you, but I don't even know who your character is and have only vague guesses of how many of his original limbs he still possesses.))

Someone tried to laser a power mad robot over being electrocuted for agreeing to replace a gauss cannon that fires shells the size of Grate on a base that would be highly mobile as well as incredibly dangerous and instead hit a volatiles tank that exploded and killed the shooter and seriously damaged the power mad robot?
((Fixed that for you.
Still, it is worse than you lasering the Blackship's control panel.)
((Fixed that for you.))
((So, you shot Simus for Steve electrocuting you? And you didn't agree, or rather you only technically agreed...and didn't agree to her conditions.
And, again, Simus had no control over the electrocution. You should have shot Steve for that.))

I'll start writing up the stuff tomorrow morning if no one comes up with anything else to add/suggest.

By the way, game plug. It's a CYOA-writing thingy.

We weren't, we were debating the plausibility of Mowat's theory.

Well, I was.

<Excellent. I'm getting the book constructs working well...and with permission, testing a direct download of data from the server to a human brain.>

"Shark-mist doesn't have anything to do with Sharks, don't get your hopes up. It's just space-herpes."
((...I'm pretty sure it's, um, not that.))
((Why do we need this sort of commentary?))
((Partly to warn the newbie that this isn't a, how to put it, "video nasty".
And partly for the ulterior motive of prompting someone else to explain how it is like space-herpes, expanding my knowledge of sharkmist bwahaha!))

Who used 25 foot vessels to go a few hundred miles.
Ah.
Well, I daresay that they A. were damn better navigators than Europeans (since their whole lives were at sea), B. were sailing less hostile waters, and C. weren't trying to cross the entire ocean without stopping at a nice, fertile island.

And I'm 90% sure they had bigger canoes than that...

<Yuri, whenever you're free, could you bring up those books you were studying? And could you also bring HK or should I find it?>
