...how so?

I mean, some of them would be whusses, some of them would probably not be whusses

wouldn#t the non-whusses become the dominant ones?
Wait, what?

"This is not your yard, and your judgement matters not."
"Neither does yours. Lemme guess, you told them you had this great land they could all settle, without thinking for a second that you might want to ask Arya's permission before seizing her whole yard for your little refugee colony?"

Quote
Now please leave peacefully. If you think the best way to be unignorable is by being a threat, then you should please leave, sleep for a night and reconsider, because if you want to make yourself a threat, you will be responded to as such. You have no right to bully us around. So please leave peacefully."
"I'm not trying to bully you, I'm trying to get you to show basic respect for the big people. You're not--you're ignoring me when I try to talk to you peacefully, and you're ignoring the very much valid claim Arya has on this land because it suits you. No wonder the fingerlings were oppressed..."

((Let me see... grate does some sort of space magic supernova thing spawning heaps of anomalies and causing significant structural damage. If that damage extended to a tank of highly reactive fuel weakening its structural integrity and it suddenly bursts for whatever reason, what do you think the logical outcome will be?))
((That it would either explode immediately or not until some other stimulus causes it to explode? And also that it would probably be noticed when searching for things that need to be fixed?))

((Indirectly, by continuing to exist despite several normally permanent deaths?
((I don't follow. How would Grate's deaths make something very far from Grate blow up?))

Also, he helped Auron gather parts.
(("Grate helped me! He's the guilty one, I'm innocent!"
--Not Auron, because he isn't a complete moron))

I'd probably take you up on that if it wasn't written in a way that would allow you to demand a magical girl subforum and claim the money.

...In a town of inexplicably panicking people.

Sure, if Will had actually destroyed a building, but given that he calmly asked if there were people in the building he was threatening you'd think they'd be a bit calmer. But nooo, Will is a demon to them so any mildly hostile action is treated as the Second Coming of Godzilla.
Will is definitely amused. Where he comes from, people usually don't panic until the third or fourth destroyed building.

6892
"Flint, what the hell happened here?! God darn-it, you'd think we could go a day without something blowing up, but nooooo, everyday something has to explode. Ugh."
((Isn't it the same day as the last several things to blow up?))
((What an excellent point, for all you guys know this could all be grates fault.))
((How the hell would Grate have done this?))

6893
Yes, but why build defenses at all? Especially when, as noted, they impede more than they defend?

"If your first instinct of gaining their attention is stomping the ground and threathening to crush our buildings, it only shows why they shouldn't interact with you. Next thing we know someone makes a joke about you and you slap them with the flat of your hand because you are annoyed. I will tell them it's alright once you have gained my trust that you will treat them as if they were your equals, and not as if they were at your mercy. Until then, please leave them be, especialy when I am not around. You...methods may very well end in many dead as they try to deal with the human threat the way they have done so for their entire life. They are not used to friendly talk with giants, and will need some time getting used to as well. Please respect that."
"If you were paying attention, you would have noticed that my first instinct was talking. I deduced that you had told them to ignore me, so I made myself unignorable."

Will may notice that the ballistae of the keep are all aimed at him. Small they may be, but they are still about as dangerous as a crossbow. The guards manning them seem incredibly nervous, almost at a panic. He may also notice that the civilians have begun evacuating into the catacombs. Children are screaming.
Will calmly turns the ballistae the other way.
"I somehow doubt that threatening her guests will convince Arya to let you continue taking over her entire yard. Do I have everyone's attention now?"

What kind of wild animals? Big predators have never been mentioned (not that they harass villages with any frequency), and small pests wouldn't be stopped by a fence and only slowed by a wall.

6896
"How dare you threathen the health and wellbeing of my people! They are innocent families, who have left their old home behind for a fresh start. I promised them they no longer would have to fear humans, yet your first action the moment they don't do exactly as you demand them to, you raise your feet to crush them! YOU are the kind of monster why we used to kill humans that came too close to us. The houses we are building here are these peoples future and hope. I dare you, crush it and face the consequence that all monsters face when they crush buildings just because they can."
((...How is a house the least important building?))
"Alright, I'll take that as a 'Someone is in this building'." Will removes his foot.
"By the way, can you get the thick-skilled munchkins to pay attention without me having to pick them all up? It's kinda important."

6897
And at this point I'm genuinely surprised we still haven't run into anyone else throughout the 150 years of our history.
Maybe we should consider at least some rudimentary defensive palisades around the villages, the two camps in particular?
Why would we build defenses?
So that when suddenly someone decides to pay us a visit we're not literally sitting ducks.
Two things.
1. Why would they be automatically hostile?
2. I mean IC. What would possess our people to waste good wood on obstructing their movement?

I hardly even notice ER, but sure, have a subforum if you want to. It all boils down to whenever subforums are going to be handled like candy now, because that's what I fear might happen after the nth one gets made and dislike the idea thereof.
Slippery slope fallacy. Insert amusing and facetious comment here.
Going to have to disagree here.  This is, essentially, a legal decision, and precedent has a long-standing tradition as a legal concept that drives decision making.
I'm referring to the idea that if one long-running, massive game gets its own subforum, they are going to be "handled like candy". That's a definite SSF. And I really don't see how precedent comes into this unless some other game gets to ER's size and complexity.

Also, when MC'ing a allium, and it gets killed, their weapons don't assplode.  Elite mutons always work for me, on the other hand, I now have far too many heavy plasma and not enough weapon fragments.
Isn't mind control only for a few turns, and doesn't end the mission? Aid's MC was like that.

Tis an amazing 4th wall breaking hint though :P
Who is to say that Civ 5 wasn't released in the XCOM universe? Maybe it's an in-joke the EXALT guys use.
Makes sense. After all, the timelines only diverge in 2015 (assuming that the Scottish independence thingy goes through...)...
