((I don't know what this "considerable defence" thing means, but it seems to me like they'd just obliterate us from orbit- or outside of orbit, I guess.

And all our equipment and technology was theirs to begin with, barring alien tech. Unless I'm missing something.

((We didn't come in invading. We landed on the planet legally, then took over. One guess as to how likely it is we'll fall for that. Another as to how likely it is for the UWM to try it.
We also have some pretty damn good troops, which means that a ground invasion would require a heck of a lot of troops. Good luck smuggling those in.
And yes, we do have some tech not here originally, including a few weird alien artifacts.))
