Kyle tries loading in on the server with Will.He arrives in a mental representation of a vast library, with huge shelves of books taking up most of a massive chamber and a row of computers off to one side. Everything is flat and basically textureless, though colored.

I was playing Civ V a bit ago, and just got into a nice war. The other side offered a peace treaty; it looked nice, lump sum of gold, payments over the next several turns, fixing relationships with a city-state...the works. I accepted...then watched my treasury and gold-increase-thingy drop like a stone.

Which is more or less why I have an issue with them, the fact that they must act like what they depict.The problem is?
Also, because that means a bunch of void entities would end up manifesting as Darnos. The lack of any significant allowance of deviation means that @Xantalos won't be controlling a Darnos character, he'll be controlling an entire collective of them.
Weren't there multiple necron thingies?Well, we have established that TA is basically a book series here and a popular one at that... which means that some entities may manifest as Darnos.Possibly, but only one at a time and probably not very often, since he was, after all, a human villain, under it all.

Anyone who wanted to use OOC knowledge could have looked up Tomb of Horrors and found it. You might as well worry about spoilers by mentioning that Rosebud was his sled, Snape killed Dumbledore, or Jacob falls in love with Bella's baby in a move that was probably thought of when the author was drunk and sleep-deprived because seriously what the hell.

1. Firaxis did not copyright segmented bones, scaly necks, or navy blue suits.
2. You can't get in trouble for that kind of stuff anyways. If you could, all fanfic would dry up instantly, because what they do is robbing a hell of a lot more than what we're proposing.
3. We've in fact had far more directly copyrighted stuff in this very game! *cough*Persona*cough*

« on: January 26, 2014, 08:13:43 pm »I haven't finished working on his exact specification yet. :pReplace the tentacles with segmented bones (compared to snakes' spinal columns), give them some poison, and as noted put scales around the wrist and neck (and presumably down the torso).
Also, make the suit navy blue.
