"Because that won't backfire at all."

7307
He does have a point. For all they knew, Keith could have said that they had to hold eldritch orgies and upload them to the internet on a daily basis.
...
Shit that would have been better. I would even let Keith become an unpure for that.
...

And the coup de grâce: -It must undo what it did to Keith to the best of its ability one minute from Keith's current frame of reference after it the contract is signed.
That's awesome.

Your all assuming there is some law making these guys do what you say. They just signed a contract that can be broken at their will.
That's kinda dumb. What's the point of it, even?

...Are you trying to weaponize the crossover ban?
I approve heartily.

I presume whatever the hell flayed ones and pariahs are from.
WH40k.

Details?
You legitmantley need to get on Skype. Its pretty much the only easy way to do this.
Dammit, what's so important that you can't say it in-thread?

Also, What should her abilities be?
Same as every other demon.

is yomiko one of those super fast growing kids that will soon be an actual character, or normal?
Demon. They're pretty much born as mature as they'll ever be.

"...this T-Thing that called himself Angel..."
The funny thing is how often I'll almost misspel Angel's name as Angle. Or Ange.

Kyle smirks and holds out his arm.
"Awesome, this is gonna hurt, a lot.  ;D"
Bethany suddenly lashes out and starts biting and ripping flesh from Kyle's arm!
This is like the exact opposite of...um...my internet is still acting up, that guy from The Merchant of Venice.

Quote
Sen teleports [15+81][13+45] in between Kieth and possessed Bethany. "I get all the way to my birth place and realize its covered in at least 40 tons of sand. So whose the dark one?" Sen stares at the impure one.
"Angel."
Gee, that won't confuse anyone.

((WHAT?! You have got to be fucking kidding me!))
You'll have to be more specific.
...But I probably agree with you.

Keith blushes but moves over to Bethany.
"I did say if you were sure."
"O-Okay. Lemme grab some...things. You know, protection..."
Just fade to black.

((Tempted to have Loki touch it. :3))
Similar temptations abound.

Keith coughs and mumbles before pulling something out his wallet. And a bottle of something.
"Uncle said I needed to start..."
Dammit, just fade to black, I don't want to see your preparations and foreplay and crap!

((And away we go....also nanomachines: http://i.imgur.com/u5NYUyZ.png))
...What.

Keith snuggles close to Bethany.
"Love you Beth."

Kyle smirks.
"I love you Keith."
Allllllllllllll the naked snuggles.
TMI.

"I'm still hungry, Uncle Kyle..." Yomiko just looks at Kyle with hunger in her eyes.
...
Combine this with her biting Kyle...

[To:Cyrielle] <I wonder hwta her abilities are going to be?>
Would this be a good time to remind you that I've repeatedly stated that demon "types" are basically professions?

"I need mana first.... I absorbed a book from keith so I ended up using up all of my mana. I'll need a few hours to recharge it." Sen begins reading the pages however and quickly starts learning things.
Doesn't mana recharge to 100% in 15 posts?

You're late enough in the game to encounter Sectopods, yet Chrysallids cause more problems for you? Don't plasma weapons 1-2 shot Chrysallids? You also had Sid Meier?
I have the ability to make plasma weapons, I just haven't done it nearly enough. Especially given that I keep forgetting to take them off the veterans before giving them to newbies.
And seriously. Cryssalids travel in packs, they move fast, get another move when they enter your sight range, and deal craptons of damage.

Yeah, on robot punching.
I swear the only reason I made it through one XCOM:EU Classic Ironman early game and not die horribly to thin men was because I made a robot puncher out of a useless squaddie sniper. She pretty much carried the team at times.
...Robot puncher? Do you mean MEC? Which are from the EW expansion?

And it makes you choose between all that, and a weapon that can panic Chryssalids.
...Wait, what?

What edition, what level, what sourcebooks?

[To: Bethany's Contractor] <What name should I refer to you by? Also, would you rather masculine, feminine or gender-neutral pronouns?>
<Most call me Angel and I don't really care what gender you call me. 8)>
Angel feels a weird feeling.

"It worked didn't it... Oh shit. I think this should be cut off."

Kyle perks up at the mention of amputation.
"Well, I have something for that."
"Good luck with that. Didn't work so well for me."

Kyle stands there for a moment practically sweating at the force needed to not touch it. And then he goes close to staring at it. And seeing as Anima touched he touches it as well.
"We probably shouldn't have done that."
*smack*
"You think?"

Kyle looks at his arm.
"Would you guys think I'm crazy if I thought that was kind of cute?"
"...Yes. Very. Remind me to schedule daily sessions with you and Marie. No hitting on her until the sessions are over."

Ah, right. You can still parry with a spear though (and short spears are a thing), and I'm pretty sure that parries comprise most of the defensive moves in combat. Besides, a couple of those complaints could be lodged against axes and maces too (which I guess is another point in favour for swords).
Shortspears are still significantly longer than swords; hit the middle of a spear and the wielder's wrist will be hit with a good bit more force than if you hit the middle of a sword.
And axes/maces were more commonly made with metal hafts, because A. it was less metal, B. it wouldn't increase the weight as much (see A), and C. the heavier end meant that strong hafts were more useful.

Actually, swords can break as well. You generally stick to shields if you want to block.
It is, however, harder. Especially, I presume, if you know what you're doing.

I will vote for a name that isn't horribly and/or stupid.

Thus, I'm still waiting :P

Out of those we have...Merry Men barely beats the rest.
Since we have a ton of bandits, maybe we could play off of that?

P.S. I'm making a quick note on my character sheet to address that, scapheap.

Name our god Oni-One. (or anything, really)
Oni-One Knobie?

’I slew a dragon."
"Really? I never would have guessed, Dragonslayer. And why does this translate into the Varden demanding you help with every little task, rather than treating you with" respect?"

Sad versions of:
sea turtles, manta rays, sharks, sea cucumbers, sponges...

Salmon.
birds.

7315
I should mention, we took One Crystaloid Alive
Then it is clearly time for a good old alien cutting up torture party!

Have we made some kind of interrogation chamber like Dr. Vahlen's in XCOM?

7316
Oh, and by the way, we should apologize to the shopkeeper about standing on his head. Just in case, y'know?

Anyway, let's grab what's little's left of that Burro.
Attempt to sell the Fusion Machine.  Failing that, flip it over eastwise so it triggers the trap in front of the door.
So. Part 1 ended considerably worse than my idea would have. Part 2 ended considerably better.

Everyone: Holy shit
This but also loot the Burro. I don't care if it has no valuables, I said loot it, not take its stuff.

Also broken glass for reagents, yes.

KJ, if you get Selina pregnant, so help me I will have an NPC shoot him.
Make it Meme!
Ooh! Ooh! Or Conny's daughter!

But what about all the new species that will appear from his children? What about them huh?
Don't worry, they'll starve to death too.

7318
I don't want to hear...
Do you want to hear "Can we see a picture or a few?"

Hurra for MastahCheese, who is of the sort that makes hexmaps of the world!
Didn't that, you know, never get finished or anything?

7319
<Sufficiently fast reaction is theoretically possible. Practically? Nope.>

7320
I'm pretty sure we didn't?
Then where is it, and where did that broken glass come from?

I just laughed so hard.
That was quite unexpected.
Take broken glass for later use as reagent.
Indeed.
+1. Also try to remember where we put that Skill Tree. And where the nearest Storage is.

why did i know that was coming laughed anyways
