I just watched Megaman. Normally I'd deliver belated vengeance via review, but that didn't work so well with Frozen, and I have remarkably little to say about it except that none of the jokes from the trailers were funny and I may be a sucker for playing with superhero tropes.

Neferis looks down and plays with the hem of her tunic, crossing and uncrossing her legs nervously.
COULD THIS BE SYMBOLISM FOR SOMETHING.
I DON'T KNOW.

((Congratulations Kyle, you just impregnated a wall.))
Indeed. I can't wait until the babies start being born so Kyle can regret being so promiscuous.
...Or, more likely, wonder what's going on and continue with his lifestyle.

((It's only a karma roll if it gets too explicit. I'm saying that you may have a lag baby that only appears in one user's mind.))
Or only in the server.
We might have a ghost in the machine.
So...with Kyle's children and potential children, we have a stereotypically Australian half-fairy, a slightly-less-than-half-demon, a sentient cloud of STDs, and now a computer virus. Which infects computers connected directly to people's minds.

((Or I could just punch the bracelets into dust and let the discussion end.))
Dude. They're an integral part of characters communicating and interacting, what with characters being scattered across three continents and a major island.
Oh, and Will would be angry at you and would find a way into wherever OOC!Darnos lives before beating him to a pulp.

((Shut up. I had absolutely no idea that Kyle would take her to a place where she could turn human for a bit. I thought he would make his move while she was still made of clay.))
She still would have gotten pregnant.
And the baby would have had some pretty major hidden flaws.

<Nasty buggers in the sewer. Make sure that they rest in pieces for me Spook?>
Keith pulls up Bethany's shirt.
Dammit Keith now is not a time to be a perv.

"Of course you are. You're this cute little thing that's just right in every possible way and is very huggable and smoochable and I think that the only way to enhance that would be to give you cat ears or something."
Kyle is just gushing now.
Good lord, you just finished having virtual coitus with a wall's spirit and now you're putting the moves on Selina? I can see the headlines...
"World's Population Doubled Last Decade--Northdale 5 Member to Blame"

((Anything I need to react to with my characters? Also, Meme is still sleeping in the dining room.))
Will moves her to her room.

<Looks like we'll need some panacea and Selina's help again.>
<Indeed. Why? You guys never tell me anything.>

<If you're going to replace it, please make sure that something is pumping blood through her during the replacement.>
<...Kyle, you are not removing ANYONE'S heart, regardless of if you're replacing it. Understood?>

[To: Marie] <Teleportation? Hmm, they're probably vulnerable to light, gravity and electromagnetism based attacks then. No matter how fast someone reacts, c will always be faster...>
<I'm 90% sure the bracelets work instantaneously, and 100% sure quantum entanglement does.>

That was pathetically easy.

7324
I really hope the machine was one-use. Because it is now.

And we broke the megajar.

...

We suck.

7325
Also ask for a shotgun pistol to be designed.
Shouldn't be hard. Either chop the barrel off a shotgun or make a flare gun less wimpy.

If ones as good as normal limbs are just "basic," what are the things we have these days?

Requesting two normal quality prosthetic arms for Jaromir Baros. Come on guys, give him a hand! We can't leave him unarmed and 'armless!
Requesting a smack in the head for Shinotsa.

((Another of those little quirks I'm always a tiny bit surprised when people forget about, given how often I'm called out for pulling arguments from PMs into the thread.
...Not that often, actually, but still.))

7327
The former does not seem to be feasible, due to the size of inferno shells.
Just work on miniaturization. If we wanted to do that, I mean.

However, a pistol shotgun capable of using those loads could be developed.
So...like a flare gun?

Also, +1 to prosthetics.

7328
Probably.

It would appear as though words being modified by adjectives are the answer. But, to test my hypothesis

Green Shirt?
Green House?
Green Idea?
Red Shirt?
Red House?
Red Idea?
Shirt?
House?
Idea?
Yes, yes, ye--wait, what?, yes, yes, ...yes, no, no, no.

A cat?
A red cat?
A checkered cat?
A door?
A red door?
A checkered door?
No, yes, yes, no, yes, yes.

is the end behind the gate?
is there a spud behind the gate?
No, yes.

Ddynamo got it.

((Poking at it in the nicest way: Yes, it is pride in the way of your posting.
((I never said otherwise.))

The example at hand speaks of taking things literally-and the matter at hand being what is in the Bible. Most things, are not to be taken literally--they were written at a timeframe where the people would understand the metaphors, yet by time passing the line between us understanding the written text; given how it is transcribed and translated as-is, is blurred by how the ancients understood it. A line that is hard to understand without prior research.
((So, you're saying that the stuff the Bible says isn't literally what it means? Better than most Christians, but it does bring up a point.
Isn't this book the basis of Christian religion? Hence, wouldn't the basis of such a religion in modern times be based on interpretation? And wouldn't whatever principles you followed from it be one that you assume is correctly the word of God?
Who's prideful now?))

Quote
Do not impute what you-or as a general matter, the populace of today sees in a book, and takes for granted-or in the least at hand, as determined fact-towards the time it was written and the people who wrote it.
((I'm not. I'm just saying that, as written, God is a jerk and anyone who claims otherwise has no right to use Biblical quotes to defend any point. Less so than normal, I mean.))

Quote
For posterity: I have, and have never intended, to target anyone in particular--just the aspect of the person that is showing instead of the person. I also have not said anyone is an idiot-though the term may have gone into misunderstanding to how its usage stems. Do not take it personally, and I advise to take a moment and calm down before continuing this. Apologies if certain areas were hurt, but none of that was ever in my motive or intent.))
Unless you'd want me to counter-point your...oh, ignorance on the matter. Given your brevity and lack of intellectual discussion.
((I see. Not insulting at all.))

((Rerailing, Radio Controlled contacted me and two others about joining the game back--I've been browsing through the..literally hundreds of pages to catch up. x__x That's a lot of chat, dudes. Anywhoo, still watching with interest! :D))
((Glad to have you back.))

((Yay! We may have more veterans back in time for the defense!))
. . .
((..Is it that bad?! o_o
((We don't know, but Grate briefly turned into a living amp overload, Auron (Anton?) is making a giant robot from spaceship bits against the orders of Simus and Anton (Auron?), and we're going to be fighting off the UWM in about a year.))

7331
I vote we name the new aliens either "Skitterers" or "Mad Torches," the latter because of an amusing line posted elsewhere.

7332
What did I miss thanks to Chrome or wi-fi or something hating me today?

7333
Name the Village Timberline.
-1
Not enough trees. Besides, we don't need to name our village until we come across another one.

7334
Keith sighs and motions for the Angry man to follow him before leading him to the alleyway he was at.
"Buh-bye kids! Have fun storming da castle!"
