In that case my excuse is that I can't figure out how to make it work.

<You're on the wall. Also, equipment spawned to your right, touch it.>
((Wait, is he standing literally on the wall or just near it?))
Will does so.

Difficult to master, fun to play. http://fenglee.com/game/aog/
Eh.
1. I'm not much into downloading random stuff.
2. I don't have tons of spare free time.
3. If I decide to play it, I'll wait until Will's done blundering through it.

7384
<I don't think you will want gravity to be stronger.>
Will if he would look to the right will see equipment for what comes next. (Harness, swords, manuver gear stuff like that.)
<I mean, I don't seem to be standing on the floor. Is this intentional, somehow?>
Will examines the equipment.

7385
When Will enters he may note he's on a wall... if he's played the AOT fan game he may note that it seems like the begining of the Collasol titan fight.
He has not.
<Kyle, what is this? You might want to fix the gravity...>

7386
Will hesitantly enters the server via the ring.

Color?
Good?
Red?
Futility?
Round?
Nihilism?
Narcissism?

Kyle has gone home with the sever and relevant attachments.
"Ahem. Two things: It's good to ask permission before taking things, and it took me a few minutes to work out the coding language. You have no idea how hard it is to put things like that directly into drawings..."

"Um, not really. Not past maybe recognizing bracelet signatures, if I programmed it to do that...might require modifications..."
Ester giggles, "Okay. You should probably work on that before people load up the server with junk."
"Indeed."

((It's a bit more than "Stress". I would have gone with "Fear". Also, she's a small child.))

7390
"What do you mean by that?"
"I mean, it can tell who's using it, right?"
"Um, not really. Not past maybe recognizing bracelet signatures, if I programmed it to do that...might require modifications..."

7391
-snip-
Ester oohs and aahs and takes many pictures of the server. "Um... The server can tell who's who, right?"
"What do you mean by that?"

7392
"There's a couple of ports you can connect a keyboard, mouse, and monitor to. I detached them for the presentation."

7393
"When can I set one up? I have a few combat training ideas."
"Two options. Either you can try them on this server, or more likely you'll have to wait until Selina's up to making the parts for another."

Roll To Dodge / Re: Special People: Mission 1 complete

((Except if you or your characters find silly things like morals and the lives of millions of people important.))
((Yeah, this is gonna be extremely tough for me Zechariah.))
((Indeed. Maybe it's for the best that Angel died before she helped make a huge mess of the mission.))

7395
Will glances around.

"Everyone here? Good."
He pulls out a...device, blocky but roughly ring-shaped, perhaps 20 centimeters across, with a smallish, roughly arm-shaped protrusion from the middle of the ring.
"As you know, the bracelets we all have allow us to talk and enter each others' minds. But how? To figure this out, I looked to the origins of the bracelet, considered the workings of it. Basically, they send mental signals. When they were first made, Selina was reinforcing Angel's thoughts that were resisting the shape-changing. Slightly more recently, we began sending signals to each other purposefully, for communication. When we enter each others' minds, we simply send and receive signals from that person's brain, much like the server for an online video game or somesuch. Hence the inspiration for this."
Will slips a spare, custom-made bracelet onto the "arm" of the server.
"They only work on sentient creatures, of course, but they can be entirely artificial or magically-created creatures. They can even be computers. Moreover, just because it's 'sentient' doesn't mean that it actually thinks. I made a pseudosentient computing device, smart enough for the mind bracelets but not capable of independent thought. It can also be programmed. At the moment, if you head there you'll find yourself in a featureless grassy field under a blue sunless sky; I haven't had much time to make it look nice. But it can do oh-so-much! I'm imagining that future servers could have a variety of features, up to and including video games and entire virtual worlds! But that's not all..."
Will placed a ring on the thumb of the "arm," before handing more out to the others.
"These rings are basically purpose-built bracelets, allowing access to the server and essentially nothing else. It also sanitizes the output, allowing for the aforementioned potential video games to not be ruined by mind-hackers or somesuch. Each one includes a series of little dials hidden under the outer casing, allowing them to be set to specific settings--e.g, these are all set to setting 1, which is this server here.
"The possibilities for this are endless. I'm sure I haven't even thought of half of 'em. I can only imagine what we could do with this."

"Any questions?"
