Well, actually the plain blue is fine for some reason.
...That's what Will uses.
"I'm Will and I speak in blue!"

I wonder what would happen if Kyle got Void pregnant...
Void is male.
As much as it is either.

7457
"I taught him to arrive on command."
That said the Manticore named Fluffy appearz uncomfortably close to Will.
Will moves away, glaring at Kyle.

"You want to tell the big man eating cat monster to stop eatting other peoples pets?"
"Ideally? Yes. The last thing we need is the neighbors angry at us."

"It isn't snacking on Will is it?"
Kyle looks annoyed more than like he's proved his point.
"Just because it's not the worst possible thing doesn't mean it's okay."

<Introspection and self-understanding, and exactly what I said. Their full name, accurate to their pronunciation down to the last tiny inflection.>
<How do people figure out their True Name from introspection if it could be literally any combination of syllables?>
<Do you mean, like, legal name or what?>

7458
Sure. Hm...what glow color, what glow color?

P.S. That probably also applies to Conny, Cado.

7459
Kyle goes over to the rest of the group.
"Want to see Fluffy's new trick?"
"Not unless you're willing to tell us what it is first."

at least that weird feeling of dread has mostly faded...
((Now you only have the entirely-explicable feeling of dread from having terrible terrible wounds!))

"O-okay..."
Follow the grown-ups.

I'd rather think its in how you prioritize and organize your schedule GWG. When you give turns or plays to a player in...single sentences or even a paragraph or so, I doubt that it becomes a huge glob against your time invested.
Meaning: Don't think more about the 'dropping out' or 'please drop out so faster games' but find a way to better organize there.
Yeah...organizing everyone is a good idea.

This game is falling to the ever-so-common problem in my games of having way too many players. Anyone willing to drop out to give the others hopefully-faster updates?
I doubt that dropping out would give faster-updates, seeing as we're waiting on a few people and not the entire group.
I was aiming that more at the few players.
...Who are also the least likely to notice that.

((I like the Party Wagon. Black Death ain't bad either.))

Quote from: Simus>Steve
Would you please explain to Auron that I am still his commander? Just a small buzz from his implant and a few words should do.
((You seem to forget that steve freed us all, using the shock collars to enforce your will is in direct conflict with that.))
((It's less "enforce Simus's will" than "alert Steve to a place his will should be enforced/reminded of the existence of".))

Fine. I won't tinker now. But I've got to tinker sometime soon, I've got three projects I want to try since forever.
The Impact Hammer, the Translocator (or Blink Module, not certain about the name yet) and the Gauss Slingshot that can possibly turn into the ARM-Giver if I work on it long enough.
((Blink Module? Do tell...))

[HAWKING] also Calls Grate Over.

"Hey son!
So I saw you jumped into a giant reactor and turned into hamburger.
You probably shouldn't do that, just for reference"
Fail to notice him due to being in VR.
((HAWKING is also in VR. Right next to you in the VR world.))
((Oh.))
Notice Mr. Hawking.

((That's the thing about Thuun/me. He may be crazy and stupid enough to cook his own legs, but dude is CREATIVE. And giving the raw forces of magic to creative people results in someone who can become SCARY AWESOME.))
((If he doesn't kill himself first.))

Google points to Urban Dictionary. That says.... stuff.... that sounds stupid.
Screw my old idea
TEACH GRATE TO TWERK WHEN HE GETS ANGRY
-1. I don't want Grate stupid.
+1
The only good thing about twerking is Wikipedia's overly-technical description of it. That's kind of amusing.

But twerking makes you invulnerable to turret fire!

See, not useless :P
No, that's the Ubercharge.

Zechariah's eyes glow a bit brighter, his interest piqued at this moment.
"Ah, alright. Fair trade, so I guess I'll say a little of my background. I.. kinda already told you the direct reason I was thrown into another multiverse during my bipolar rant. During my other life, however, I was - and still am - a "Medium" - think of a demigod who connects different dimensions together. There are other Mediums and a separate form called a "Guardian," but I was the first Medium, and the de facto leader of all of the Guardians and Mediums. I made a deal with both my alter-ego and a god in order to fight off the Shadow for my friends. In return, however, I essentially.. lost my human soul. Which is why I'm here. Anything in particular you would like to know about my other life?"
((Isn't the plural of "medium" "media"?))

7468
...except due to their temperament, others are utterly convinced that they are a tsundere.
...Um, "Tsundere" is a description of temperment. They'd be right.

-snipped setting stuff-
Neat, but...with that low of a reproductive rate, dragons should have gone extinct long ago.

Suddenly, a massive, oversized drop pod slams down in the front yard of the office, smashing a small daemon and two or three boxes of chocolate pudding! It slowly opens up, chocolate and core sticking its door for a moment, opening more than eight feet tall..

And then a two-foot tall girl with bright pink hair and light power armor steps out, hefting a bolter that's much too large for her.

"... Like, OMGE! I think I like... hit something?" She looks down at the goop, frowning.

...
...
Let's start with this: There are no female space marines.

Books are unpacked in ten seconds flat.
I'm imagining whats-her-face just dumping the books onto the floor and there's nothing you can do to convince me otherwise.

"Also why do you have a chibi-Sororitas?"
Since when do Sisters of Battle travel in drop pods? Especially ones clearly sized for space marines?

"DON'T BE SO FUCKING SHY ABOUT THAT FUCKING SHIT, EMPEROR ON THE FUCKING THRONE!"
Golden Throne, Angerus. Golden. The Fucking Throne is something completely different that I pray does not actually exist.

Also, I'm somewhat sad that Jac's text no longer looks like Void's. It means there's not an implied connection between the two, which kinda destroys the premise of a theory I was working on.

Sociopath.
I'ma assume you're not calling me that.
They have soft sides, they just got broken thanks to their mental disorder.

Quote
True, she has one, it's just weird and kinda shrivelled and tiny.
Like a little ugly-ass midget.
I don't like Hainawule, but her soft side isn't all shriveled.

Why was Nuriel exiled from hell anyways?
It wasn't ever defined. Presumably, she pissed off the wrong archdemon or something.

Also, how much of the twenty something pages was dicking around and how much was relevant?
Assume the typical ratios: The more you read, the less relevant it is.

7469
<Ok, Coming>

Stella arrives, she did not think about changing back now that flight is not needed

She looks around ((who else is there, among other things))
Will is greeting her. There are also some other people, including Kyle who is talking to a wall and a few gods. Horus, Set, Sobek I think...feel like I'm missing someone...

<While I'm waiting for stuff to happen, anyone care to explain how true names work a bit? Like, what is a true name, in wordage? Jraliviris? Pure Green Blood Field? Jealous Piteous Religious Bastard? Bob?>
<It depends on the person.>
<Any rhyme or reason? Or, barring that, some kind of database or spreadsheet or something?>
<magic is rarely so neat. It's dependent on so many variables it becomes rather silly.>
<I'll take that challenge.>
<How does one normally discover a true name?>
<Usually from the being itself. Technically the easiest Name to discover would be the least powerful and most likely to change, which is essentially their name as they pronounce it. More... intimate ones exist, but they require more comprehensive knowledge of a person's beign. You'd need to do extensive research.>
<Firstly: How does one discover one's own True Name?>
<Secondly: What do you mean by "their name as they pronounce it"?>

(Leaving this alone for the ease of rag quoting it.)
