Kyle doesn't get in on the plot as besides being asleep he would probably end it fast and also Will will probably be there and he will refuse to work with him until further notice.

Will is not there because he doesn't know anything is going on.
Instead, he is back inside, having finished washing his face and testing his theory of "If I drink enough I won't be traumatized".

The original shenanigans would have added an interesting dimension of drama to a relationship previously just "They hate each other to varying extents," and were mostly important because they were tied to a bundle of stuff I had planned which all got thrown out at once.
Kj's shenanigans made no sense IC.

Really, the complaints were more that I had ideas I wanted to implement but never could. Oh, and this means that Will's not going to be helping Kyle any more--at least not for a while--so there's another plot arc gone. Smooth.
