Cullodus feels her barrier double in strength for this turn as the fool copies Richard's phantom body. Angel burns away at the slime reducing it's already tenuous consistency even further, leaving Richard open for Ada and Kyle's follow-up attack. Kyle breaks any attempt to damage or resist Ada, allowing her to break all the way to his core. Enough of his mass gets in the way, preventing Ada from hurting him too badly, (are you using pheromones?)

and if what you say that the game is focused on fun rather than balance, then I dont see the problem with giving a shy character a confidence boost. it may yet have entirely unforseen and potentialy interesting consequences if the confidence suddenly runs out at inopportune times, or if she becomes so overly confident that she suddenly shows entirely new, sides to her that not even she herself could have predicted.
