Will's in the middle of a planning blitz. He'll let others get a word in edgewise once he's decided what to say.

Also, he never likes being ignored and having someone else asked about a plan for a problem he was in the middle of finding a solution for.

Will never entered the television.

Basically, he begins planning a way to either protect or evacuate the fingerlings' city (the plan is still in pre-alpha stages), and gets interrupted by assorted events.

Will is trying to find something to wear. Sadly, the closest thing he has to a suit is his super suit. Strangely, the possibility of a white-tie occasion was not high on his priority list when he packed up.
