You have given examples of how talking out-of-game can be bad. I can give examples of how owning steak knives can be bad. Should we outlaw steak knives, just because someone might go on a murder frenzy with them?

Plus, I'm doubtful of the non-players argument, since you said earlier that it's okay to talk about Mafia games with people out-of-forum. I also doubt the likeliness, effect, and/or prevalence of the kinds of things you claimed would ruin the game.

Because I expected other people to be voting. Also because I hoped that maybe it would give a hint. Someone backing or criticizing or defending griffinpup too quickly? Worth a shot.

Tent 2: Unvote.

How would they carry the ball in their claws without it touching the ground? They can stand on two legs, but bipedal locomotion is beyond them.

859
Offense in football requires being able to carry, throw, and kick the ball. Like, far enough that the control doesn't go to the other team. (I'm not too familiar with the rules of football, but it sounded important.)

Quinghai stares at the ball of fire over the cone of water.
"This is not what I intended...but it could be something..."

Make the top of the whirlpool turn into mist, which will strike the ball of fire, turn to steam, and propel the remainder of the water further away. This leads to a more flattened sea underneath an atmosphere of water vapor and a ball of fire.

Say. Simus said we wouldn't need tokens anymore on Hephaestus. Is this true? If so, I'm gonna be looking into stuff...
Even if thats the case youll likely still have a resource budget, its not like your gonna be allowed to churn out highly sophisticated autonomous antigravity turret platforms equipped with heavy particle accumulator cannons and plasma burst shields whenever you feel like it.
Still.

Oh and seeing as we're about to launch a Player run R&D group, I figured now would be the right time to upload and post this. Just to see the effect.

Why didn't she just laser the door?

Did GWG ever say anything decisive on the matter whether he's selling his alien power source or not? I'm still interested in it, partially due to OOC nostalgia.
What're you offering? Everything's for sale for the right price.

+4 Intelligence, +1 Willpower
+1 Auxiliary, +2 Handiwork
Changes made on wiki. Further changes will be changed if Grate doesn't get a standard level-up.

Also, get the pill machine from wherever Miyamoto stashed it.
Also +2 Charisma, +1 Dexterity, and +2 Exotic.

Total: +2 Charisma, +1 Dexterity, +4 Intelligence, +1 Willpower, +1 Auxiliary, +2 Exotic, +2 Handiwork, +1 Pill Machine.

863
Meant to post this in the Level Up thread. Please ignore/delete.

((Wait, is the life god playing with the ball of fire or what?))

I find fire to be a very underrated, unfairly characterized and largely untapped classical element, really.
That's largely because people tend to be rather...well...classical about their definition of fire.

Accidental Hit and run while I was walking in town. Assuming I know speeding cars, the guy that hit me was going 40. So yeah, Ill be fine. Doctors say I might have a bit of nerve damage, but otherwise no broken bones and a lot of bruises and scratches. Can't move my arm and can barely wiggle my toes.
Lovely. What kind of nerve damage? The kind where a patch of skin on your side is numb, or the kind where you're dead from the waist down?

I'll soon post my new plan once that fight has been resolved. Idealy, my plan should allow for us to take out at least 3 of the bombers without *any* fight, giving us a 60% chance of taking out the bomb instantly. Wether all 5 can be taken out depends a *lot* on how the first wave of attack goes
Hopefully it isn't impeded by some hot-headed demon taking a jet and ramming it into an enemy bomber.
Also, please share the plan. IC ideally, but OOC works too.

((Why is Kyle's tech disabled?))
Plasma isn't good for tech. It screws with tech enough to disable the communications on ships entering the atmosphere without special workarounds; give it a bit of enchantment from the magitek, and it could easily mimic an EMP.

((He got an 82 versus a 72 though. How'd he get hit?
Now that is an excellent question.

<I don't know. I can fall at twice the height of a normal person and be fine but... we are fighting jets...>
Damage is proportional to acceleration, not distance fallen (it's not the fall that kills you). Besides, there's no set distance that a normal person can fall anyways.
Huh. kj's saying a lot to respond to.

Earlier, my family and I got into a bit of a discussion about who would win in a football game between the Chicago bears and some trained bears. We determined that the bears would probably have a good defense, but would have a terrible offense. Thoughts?

866
Nuriel takes control of the jet and attempts to ram an enemy plane! A bomber, if possible.

867
I'm considering changing the name of the wiki to "The Wiki of Oric the Awesome". What do you guys thing?
Do it.

868
I designed an orbital fighter.

Turns out that if you want it to land, you should probably design it for that. It survived re-entry, to my surprise. FAR warns me of "Large AoA/Sideslip," which I assume is FAR for "your craft's wings are bloody girders, why are you trying to fly it?"
Bill and Jeb bail out at a bit above two and one kilometers, respectively. Thanks to Vanguard Parachutes, they land okay. There was no salvage possible on the fighter, but at least the pilots are safe.

Incidentally, neither MechJeb's anything nor the right-click eject option from Vanguard's eject module thingy are existing. Any idea why?

And you can't debate that the Earth is round. What's your point?
