Well, nobody's decided to pester Alexander yet, another guy who could be trusted with it. Maria wasn't in the discussion. Richard was listening in but couldn't do anything.
Annie and Wheatley side with Cyrielle, and Hestia and Chiron are busy trying to figure out how to defuse Luna.
I've covered every character of mine who would reasonably be in the discussion.
Why do Annie and Wheatley side with Cyrielle? Why are they refusing to implement more redundant safety measures?
Heck, why is no one willing to implement the extra killswitches just to shut Will up?
Cyrielle DID create them and they trust her more. Meanwhile, everyone's now concerned with trying to stop people from dying.
I'd go on a rant about blind faith, but I'm fully aware that this and another (Facebook-based) debate have wound me up and I'm probably not rational in wanting to rant.
I'd blow off some steam with X-Com or something, but every mission it's swarms of mutons and berserkers so I'd end up losing soldiers/missions/both and that would make me feel worse.
Because Not!Selina won't agree and now Cyrielle is just trying to put it into a construct.
Wait, Cyrielle is acceding to the requests of the wannabe serial killer for her new body? That seems, pardon my language, fucked up to me. Why doesn't it set off warning bells that Luna the person who wants to kill several members of the group is refusing to let those members shut her off?
Kyle doesn't think Will is a proper human anymore compared to NS who he sympathizes with.
Keith is unaware and is also my back up for if Kyle dies horribly so he gets no drama for now.
HK-47 blindly follows Kyle as he is programmed to do so and have the same morality as Kyle.
The first is, pardon my language, fucked up big time. Seriously, Will is trying to help (saying he's trying to break her to fit what he wants her to be is a bit messed up, seeing as what he wants her to be is "not murderous"), and Not!Selina is a fragment of Selina's worst desires.
The second two are understandable and acceptable.
