"You there, hands off the weapons. As for this...dwarf, how do you respond to these claims?"

8793
Dude do you even Greek mythology
The two might be related, but they are not the same.
It's also possible that we are talking about different people.

If Will persists with this plan he's getting stabbed. I do not like that trope.
If he can accidentally guilt Kyle into depression, he should be able to purposefully guilt Luna into less murderousness.

Wait, Will's doing the Darnos?
I giggle.
Darnos breaks people for fun. Will breaks people to stop them from murdering everyone.

Of course. You came up with the plan.
Irrelevant!

Or we could commit her to a psychiatric institution like most other people would.
Um, Not!Selina (alias Luna) isn't a physical person; she's an aspect of Selina's mind accidentally created by Demons Run in a game of mental truth or dare.
Long story. Short version: We got really, really bored waiting for the next turn.

...

Crap! The First Magic Girls!

Wait a minute, wouldn't breaking Luna screw up Selina even more since she's part of her?
Not literally break, just...break the part that wants to murder people.

Why exactly can't we take Luna and put her somewhere else? I mean that seems like the ideal non-invasive solution here before whatever complications you guys have.
Luna is enough a part of Selina that you can't just remove her. It would kill Selina.

-snip-
No reaction to Will's speech, or to he and Nuriel wresting control away from Luna? I was hoping for at least a "screw you". It's annoying that Will sets up this plan, gets yelled at it by two people...and the person it's aimed at doesn't admit its existence.

8794
"Ignore Will, he's trying to break you. Luna, yes there will be a kill switch."
"Not that that affects the truth of what I'm saying one bit."

Quote
"Will wants to limit the capabilities but personally, I think the capacity for myself and my siblings to sever control should be enough."
[To: Cyrielle] <Because it will be totally infalliable, and you will always be watching. And awake. And not dead.>

<Kyle sliced his bracelet in half.>
<Idiot.>

"He my baby that Sewina make for me." Meme looks proud saying this, cradling Momo carefully.
Will would feel a bit slighted if he had heard this.

Ester's squees can be heard in the kitchen. That girl has a pair of lungs in her.
Will winces. "Do we need to get a muzzle for that girl?"

You know, I hadn't expected that result.

Step forward to those fighting. Remove the dwarf from the orc. Glare at them both.
"What seems to be the issue?"

Continue helping salvage stuff.

"Well it's kind of simple, monsters like getting close--"
"So why do you give them what they want?"

Quote
"When I put my axe through it's spine it'll stay down and this shield is strong enough to take a serious pounding even from monsters."
"Weren't you saying just a minute ago that you can't expect monsters to follow rules of how things 'should' work?"

Quote
"I can fight the monster on it's terms as easily as mine. Your in big trouble if it gets close and it will get close. When that happens you'll be glad I'm here."
"It is inherently foolish to choose as your battlefield the one where the enemy is strongest. Strike the enemy's weak point, not where they are strongest. Moreover, what if a monster has some variety of attack that leaves it out of your axe-range, such as spitting venom, or a pair of long arms?"

Quote
"As for your preperation, good luck preparing for an enemy you know nothing about."
"Precisely my point. As to your other claim, just ask others who have seen the monster. Also, I highly expect that those who fight monsters begin to learn patterns. Why do you think that, out of the small percentage of monster hunters who last more than a month, remarkably few die in their second?"

Do you guys need any help?
Message everyone here and wait for responses.
((You could always come help with the anomaly exploration team. We could use a hand really.))
((Maybe once Grate realizes that Auron's just trying to get child labor to help with a crazy project.
Or if Miyamoto asks on open comms or something.))

((So this thread seems to have a whole bunch of ideas for what to build after our little cleanup missions. Can someone give me the short version of what the current plans are?))
((Auron is planning to build a giant robot. Everyone else is planning to build a place to decontaminate the spaceship bits.))

((I think you mean things, not thongs.))
((That would be hilarious.))

((But I just arrived (Unless I was hiding or something). Is he actively recruiting?))
((The players, and others in the former HMRC, were stored in cryogenic sleep tube thingies until needed. Aka, until a player signed up. When needed/signed up, they are woken up/defrosted/slapped and given a few purple plastic disks and some clothes.))

Grey goo is just nanobots that eat shit. Fire at biologicals and they get dissolved.))
((Because there's no way that could backfire.

Anyways, magic nanobots are kinda displaced by actual magic.))

((These future humans are lame. IRL research has got some ideas on creating microtechnology that can reproduce itself and follow programs.))
((Citations or it didn't happen.))

((Too bad I'd get crushed by Will attacks. There goes my plan of looting the armory.))
((No, no, go loot the armory. I'd like to see the fireworks from a newbie who doesn't have any clue what's going on accidentally fighting either the biggest or the second-biggest badass on the ship. If you survive that, go annoy the Doctor.))

((AM has universal amp, it's not stated in the armory but PW said so. Also, you can use the universal manip to convert matter, Miya made a block of C4 out of dirt.))

((@Smurf: Miyamoto bought the namite thrower off of Pancaek, who designed it and has used it to melt a murderous robot once. Miya killed a bunch of sods with it, but currently loaned it to someone on the biohorror team. Also, it is great at overkill, it can melt sods away.
((Things to make/get/steal:
Universal amp or Microforge
Namite thrower or 'converted' sharkmist))
((Amps are things implanted into your brain to let you use space magic. I'd go for the universal manipulator; it's (slightly) easier to use out of the box.))

You get some water for the maintenance crew and complain to steve about their work conditions. Steve offers to let you do their work for them.
((Predictable.))

((See, it wasn't perverted. You guys just thought that, in fact, you probably assumed that all the maintenance crew were men. Thus, you are the perverts. :3))
((Since when is May limited by gender?
Or species?
Or status as alive?))

And, anyways, my avatar rotation includes golden dragons and such. Or it did, last I checked. It's certainly supposed to.
It includes a couple of golden dragons and a ton of blank spaces.
[/quote]
I've been meaning to fix those blank spaces...

GWG, You've missed the point here. Just pick a special ability of yours that you want improved from the way the GM currently has you set up with.
I fully intend to once I've decided on what to take.

Quote
You're trying to complain that someone who has clearly said they aren't willing to look up DnD material hasn't portrayed you accurately as a DnD Great Wyrm gold dragon in an Arena Game.
My complaints are more about the GM's complaints about my actions and whatnot, and my complaints about how he made me a giant golden D for some reason. Oh, and my complaints about him calling me lazy.

Making your Shapeshifting a Blue Ability instead of a Green one would give it a cooldown of, like, three turns, BUT it would be an auto-succeed.
...
Shapeshifting: Can take on the form of any animal, person, or inanimate object. Stats are unchanged by this.

I'm giving EP a shortsword and sub-machine gun, and flabort a shotgun and katana.
Cool. Though would a Cutlass be Dex or Agi based?
Also, could I get the holster for the shotgun on my back, and the... scabbard? Sword-holder, whatever, go on my waist. Because Captain Eagle needs his hands free when piloting, and his weapons close at hand.
It's assumed you have holsters/scabbards/straps/sheaths in order to have your hands free when you aren't boarding/being boarded.
Actually, it's assumed you don't have your weapons out unless you say so.

And a cutlass would be dexterity.
Sweeeet.  8)

Edit: Just designed the outer wall of another ship. Each grid-section of the walls is 417 units heavy and 2170 units costly. A single level of the ship, before any sort of components or interior walls or FLOORS, weighs 8516 units.  :P
And how much does the whole ship cost, if you don't mind me asking?
I don't think he's gotten that far.

How many levels is the ship going to be?

Hobble over to the skull. Grab it and attempt to remove it from the wall.

"Ayyo', could use evil magic to heal me right now."
The skull is huge, you can't remove it from the wall. You can still try to hit it or do other shenanigans.
Or bleed. I'd appreciate that.

"Try to remember about logistics and intelligence when we face that thing later. I'll be focusing on surviving these monsters again."
"Good preparation can win a battle before it is fought. Poor preparation can lose a battle before it is fought."

Pulling his pack off his back Corran stands balancing easily on the moving train and slips his hands inside first lifting his left arm with an enormous metal tower shield strapped onto it following by his right with a large double bladed battle axe, the shield is battered with dozens of battle scars on it and the blade still dirty with dried blood.
"This should tell you everything you need to know about monsters, this shield could stop the lance of a charging horseman and one of the monsters I fought dug it's claws more then an inch into it."
Carl nods.
"Minor question. Why are you fighting with axes in an era of firearms, and where would you find a charging horseman using a lance?"
(Let it be noted that this was asked before he mentioned not wanting to talk about his background.)

"That requires me to tell you a lot about my past, more then I'm comfortable with. Short version is I was raised differently to you and these weapons were just relics until recently.
"I'd say most would still consider them relics."

"Naw, I mean our mutual friend Kuzma. I'm starting to think he needs regular fight-picking to complement his diet of alcohol. All in good humor, of course."
"Of course! He is Russian, after all. Isn't it obvious? All Russians I've met were like that. Welllll.... Except for the ones that were French."
"..." Carl decides not to ask.

"Besides, as far as I know, Russian aristocrats duel. Even though it's forbidden or something."
"Hardly the worst thing they do. Mark my words, they won't last another half-century."

How low does Red's head's HP need to be before her brains splatter out? Or at least get damaged enough that she stops moving?

Attack Red's head if this is a possibility. If not, go for the belly if proneness negates the attack penalty. Otherwise, bite/claw the neck.
