Selina has already fallen asleep. Will is annoyed by this development. Had he shown up five minutes earlier...
<Tabella and Lucas were going to eat as well but Sen kind of knocked Tabella out and then slipped on a pillow.><Idiot. Is Tabella okay?>
...then again, it's the Doctor we're talking about, so perhaps he'll have a biohorror that'll surprise us in that regard.((Xan Army.))
Alright, that's something Carl can safely ignore. You stand on the keg. With your hands.KEGSTANDWhat, exactly, is a kegstand?
"Or perhaps some people simply don't feel the need to use there strength to get attention."I'm assuming you're replying to my comment on heart and soul not being the greatest strengths of men? If that was the case, you'd expect some people to use heir strength to get attention...and that they would triumph over those using the lesser strengths to succeed. The opposite is the case. Those using heart, soul, and so forth get trampled and conquered by those using brute force. Is this right? No. Is it? Yes."
"Every...one..." Selina yawns and is starts to falls asleep."Seemed like an awful lot of pizza for two people."
Kyle smiles and makes a shushing gesture to Will. Will shrugs.
Pretty certain...Excuse me, I'm going to be a walking encyclopedia for a sec.Are you certain? I'm looking at the table in the PHB right now and it lists the damage for a Small-sized greatsword as 1d10 (and 2d6 for a Medium-sized one).Looking at it, wouldn't the damage scale down too far to be useful with a small-sized maul? The default 1d10 is for a large-sized one, so if I'm reading the size change table correctly a small-sized one would do 1d6, as opposed to 1d10 for a small-sized greatsword. So if I went with a kobold-sized maul, I'd have a weapon with base stats 1d6 damage and crit x3, as opposed to 1d10 and 19-20 x2 for a greatsword or 1d10 and 19-20 x4 for a spiked hammer (if Hans allows it). If it's shot down I'm just going to go back to greatsword.Back then, "Large" meant "Two-handed for a Medium creature". A Medium maul (2-handed weapon) in 3.5 would deal 1d10, but a small maul would deal 1d8--the same as a small greatsword.
e: Yep, greatsword it is.
But the A&EG section on larger and smaller weapons says that those values only apply "If you design a version of a particular weapon that is larger or smaller than the standard presented in the PHB..." Since the PHB clearly lists the damage values for all of the standard weapons in both Medium and Small sizes, we must clearly assume that the PHB values are the correct ones, as they're listed in the source rather than homebrewed weapons which would fall under the size and damage rules.I'm pretty sure we should be using rules from a book intended for 3.5, not 3.0...
Any comments on my guy?Skitter?

>It is a matter I am not at liberty to answer. Because I was the one who posed the question to humanity in the first place, as a test of their wisdom.<Too bad Abraxas booted everyone off. Will has a pretty good answer.
Huh.Dunno. Are scales a turn-off for you? Or being a member of an alien race that tried to conquer humanity a month or two ago?
Is she ugly or something? That seems to be the most likely reason people don't want to be shipped with her when they're rabid over everyone else.
Oh.Well, what would you expect? The invasion was mostly kept secret; the world at large was unaware of it until it was basically over. We're more focused on how magic is affecting the world, and even more on how things are affecting this small group of people.
There doesn't seem to be such effect of this on the world.
Darn.
Aedan is trying to bug Nuriel. He may or may not sneeze depending on whether Elf is okay with him knowing how to handle souls.Nuriel is Angel.
<If you're looking for reasons to hate humanity, you'll find 'em. You just have to ignore all the acts of kindness, charity, and self-sacrifice. On average, humans aren't much of anything except bipedal and stubborn. And maybe a bit aggressive.><World wars, holocausts, human sacrifice, slavery, weapons of mass destruction, corruption, the usual.>>Still better than trying to stop humanity from fucking itself up again.<<...Wh-what did w-w-we do...?>
"Night night Hybwid. See you in morning." Meme falls asleep in cuddles. Will brings Momo into the same room. He was sniffling, but cheers up when he sees Meme. Momo is placed on Meme, who he immediately embraces as he falls asleep.
Kyle waves at Selina and puts each pizza in a different spot. The is a regular peperoni pizza, a white pizza, and a supreme pizza."Is this supposed to be a private meal or is it for everyone?"
"Dig in. Also could you put a movie on in the living room?"
- go for a juggernaut and somehow, through incredible play and luck, manage to get into a better position than russiaIt worked for me. Once. And with a well-timed stab. One of my most successful Diplomacy games ever.
Combining two same-level meta fusion catalyst will give us a higher level meta fusion catalyst. Ever played MU? You could upgrade jewels up to +10 to increase success rates at the Chaos Goblin, even higher if you were batshit insane or just obscenely rich.Assuming it works anything like that.
Therefore, with our Scroll of Fusion +1 (or higher!) we'll be able to take something nice and combine with something even more nice. Like our WMD with a Bag of Slot in order to create a mecha! The Illegal Corpse-Holding Ram, or whatever else.
That and GWG actually wanted to slam something important into things. That was a joke!
We're not suicidal, -1Use the long reach of the bartering ram to repeatedly tap the ground by the burro in a pattern mimicking footstepsThis might work! +1!

I have been under the impression that they stack together. If you get two +1 Enchantments, it's a +2 weapon with the additional effects.Correct.
Edit: Would it be possible to go over the money limit by 31.9gp or so? I want two permanent flame lanterns hanging on rods attached to the back of my character for the fluff. His name is Kindar Flamebringer, after all.One continual flame lantern would be cheaper. Also, it isn't real fire, just light.
That is because they don't exist.Have you considered buying a keyboard warmer?Never heard of it.
Taricus' character's portrait done. I'm not sure I'll be up to drawing anything tomorrow, living in Florida and not having a heater and tonight's freezing temperatures and all. I tend not to try to draw when I can't feel my fingers.Freezing? Bah. Around here, we'd be ecstatic if it wasn't freezing! (Or at least if it snowed less.)
"Trust me, they're a good sort for mostly liars, thieves, brutes, and whores.""You make them sound so pleasant."
- That is called self-preservation instinct suppression, kiddos. Lets me kill more boogies while you drink your warm milk and go to bed."This might surprise you, but not all men do exactly what you do. Drinking alcohol is unrelated to combat ability, unless you count the tendency of the drunkard to be absolutely terrible at any form of combat requiring hand-eye coordination, balance, or not vomiting."
"A human's greatest strengths are their minds, hearts, and souls. Without any one of those you are no longer human, for better and for worse. I'd prefer to keep my advantage as a human," she muttered to herself. She stopped for a moment - where had she quoted that from? She couldn't remember. Julia kept sipping at her milk."Then why are the strongest humans the ones who repress those characteristics? They may be our most unique, but our strength lies elsewhere."
