Sorry about breaking my promise. Yesterday was largely occupied by family stuff and trying to make myself feel less sick. (The latter effort is slowly succeeding.)
Selina nearly panics on the spot! (18) She manages to keep herself under control though. Besides, the cult was after parahumans, and disguised like this, she didn't look like a cape. So she could hit them without them realizing right? Right? She hesitantly tries to fake getting knocked to the ground to wait for an opportunity to shoot containment foam at an assailant.
[15] For some reason, everyone's focused on attacking other capes. You manage to fire off the containment foam at one of the Morivirtut people as they hurry past.
Thinking quickly steven runs towards the nearest non-four villains that are within the dampenening field and begins actively attempting to trample them using his superdense forn and throwing out wide punches in an attempt clothesline the larger threats.
Closest villain...probably Puff. [15v3] You smash him, knocking him out. A couple more guys land on top of you.
Delphinium pulses submission at the Tinkers.
You quickly follow the other heroes attempting to exit Nada's power-nullifying radius. [9] Sadly, there are too many Tinkers.
As the various civillians in attendance either cowered in fear or fled in a panic, Abel dropped to one knee, opening up the backpack he'd brought with him.
Let's see… no forms of identification, check. A hood and scarf to hide my face? Check. Near the back of the room, close to the exit if things go wrong? Check. Roughly a hundred 9-inch nails to serve as handy projectiles? Bundled and ready for use. I just need to get a good viewpoint… these crowds are a pain.
-snip-
Without any further delay, Abel used his power on the nails he held, propelling them at roughly a hundred miles per hour towards the Herbicide villains, aiming for their knees and legs, in order to disable, rather than kill.
You retreat past the edge of Nada's radius.
[7] The nails shoot forward before dropping out of the air. Not that they would have hit, anyways.
S***, S***, S***
Aquarius backs away, being truly blind panicking him
[4] You do so, jostled by other heroes, ending up with your back to the side or front of the stage.
Banzai: Head to the side of the theater across from the Morvirtut people. You do so.
Blaster: Shoot Deadstriker. [13v15+2] He dodges.
Bullet Girl: Follow Banzai. You do so.
Mirror Maiden: Avoid panicking. [3] You start panicking.
Momentum: Follow Banzai. You get shot.
Plastic Titan: Shoot Nada. [14v13] You manage to bounce it off of Chopper's armor into Nada. It stuns her, causing the power-nullification field to recede for a split-second.
Red Cross: Retreat backstage. You do so, encountering a villain.
"Season's beatings, Reddy!"
Rubber Maniac: Follow Banzai, Bullet Girl, and Momentum. What a nice crowd of heroes is gathering over to one side.
Phantasm: Follow Rubber Maniac. Same deal.
Plane Jane: Follow Red Cross. Whoo.
Potio: Inject superspeed serum, enter the crowd, engage villains. Finally. [4] Unfortunately, you cannot get past the first row of seats.
Scatterstep: Follow the mob of heroes. You do so.
Slither: Follow Banzai. Whoo.
Sliver: Stick to Bullet Girl. Heh heh. You do so.
Thalsian: Follow Slither. Whoo.
Thunderfist: Head after Potio and start beating up villains. [13] You avoid following in Potio's footsteps and actually make it into the crowd. [9v2] You clobber X in the side.
Dampener: Run in and hit Nada. [19] You hop through the crowd elegantly before [18v6] slipping around Chopper and [17v15] landing a glancing blow on Nada's head.
Running Oracle: Look for some kind of weapon. Forgot yours at home, eh? [7-5] You fail to find anything.
Wi-Fiend: Retreat out of Nada's area of effect, then make the truck start plowing towards her. [15] The truck is well-aimed, but the crowd is too dense to let the truck coast to Nada.
Blastfist: Enter the theater. You technically succeed, but Catcher's power fizzles out while you are still well above the ground. [14] You're mostly okay.
Catcher: Bring Blastfist into the fray. Your attempts to do so are impeded by your sudden appearance well above the ground. [6] Ow. You think you broke a leg.
Puff: Claw someone! Sadly, you are suffering from Cranial Trauma Nap Syndrome and cannot do so.
Fang: Knock out Nada. Grab something heavy to do it with. [16] You grab someone's full backpack before heading to Nada. [2v15] Chopper blocks your blow, making the backpack slip out of your grasp.
Femur: Hurry away. [4] You are blocked by fleeing civilians.
Jaw: Follow Skull. You follow him as much as he moves.
Skull: Skedaddle. Not too far, just out of the line of fire. [11-5] Your injury makes you slower, clumsier. You fail to beat past the crowd.
Chopper: Protect Nada. You do so.
Nada: Keep suppressing powers. You do so.
Airman: Start air blasts out of Nada's AoE and have them continue either, trying to knock Nada out. [15-5] You blast some air at Nada. Sadly, it disperses before it gets to her.
Crackshot: Shoot Momentum. [18+5] Bam.
Deadstriker: Retreat, teleport backstage, and engage the heroes. You do so, encountering Red Cross. [4v3] Not your best attack ever.
Firefly: Advance, attacking Nada. You advance. [18v10] Nada is badly bitten.
Friend: Hang back. You, um, do so.
Redrage: Argh! Escape! [5v4+5] You fail.
#1: Shoot some paras, aiming to disable. [8] You head forward to a better position before getting blasted with foam. Containment foam.
#2: What #1 said. [15] You shoot Femur, [13v7] striking him in the leg with a bolt of electricity.
#3: Screw that. Nada's giving us a huge advantage; shoot people attacking her. You have a lot of targets. You decide to go for Plastic Titan. Sadly, his plastic armor is an insulator.
#4: What #1 said. [18] Aiming for Chariot. [5v11] You miss.
