"Alright, thank you for letting me know."

Buy a Fine wand (+1 Abjuration, Conjuration, Transfiguration)
Look for a shop selling enchanted items.
Um...yeah, drawing a blank on specifics. Maybe something temporal?

*sigh* That was sort of parodying the standard hivemind/assimilation villian speech.  And was intended to be very tongu-in-cheek, although there's no good way to denote that.
((I hate when that happens.))

I also might disagree with you on whether morality works like that.  But that argument would be half semantics, half flames, and all derail, so I won't start it.  :P
((The way I look at it is like this: Is it right to force someone to be a freeman in Hell?))

-snip-
((It's not the place of the characters to decide, but it is the place of the players to contemplate.))

((On the other hand, if we all level spells at it--or at least most of us do--that should take out the big guy this turn.))

"Nein."
To the guest: "Habla español?"

((First, please close your tags GWG, if I had not noticed that there might have been issues))
((There aren't. I almost never close tags at the ends of posts or sections. How often does that cause issues?))

"But the worst part is that I know Anderson's still working there.
((Unlikely, it's probably many decades if not centuries after Steve's incarceration.))

@GWG
Perhaps the Altered were the final step in evolution, perfection.  Perhaps the only reason they "attacked" us, was so that we could be assimilated into the perfect conciousness.  Perhaps our life is a pitiful and torturous mockery when compared to the Altered.  Really, there's too much UWM propaganda for us to know.
((Neither evolution nor morality work like that.))

"No, it does not. The gem being stolen from him requires that the thief be horribly incompetent and the client was somehow unable to either go into the room himself or contact the police. Him wanting to steal the gem merely requires basic joint-casing and a desire not to be caught. And I'm sick of being a bunch of criminals."

Someone go for the drones, it'll make things easier down the line!
((Wrong. The big guy summons more drones every turn.))
((It's still a good idea to keep the drone population under control, I suspect that if we do not, the drone population will continuously increase to the point of being insurmountable. After all there was no mention of a spawn limit.))
((On the other hand, each turn we do not kill the bot is one where some more drones are spawned. And we don't have enough people to kill 2-3 drones every turn while still damaging the big bot at a decent speed, even if we hit every single attack aimed at a drone.))

"Then let me ask you this: why does he need it stolen, if it's not his? Why can't he steal it himself? If he can't steal it himself, how does he know exactly where it is? How does he know it hasn't been moved? Jussillitin's Knife applies both ways, M'Ber."
"He would presumably want it stolen because of some magical or monetary value, and he would have asked Smashy so he wouldn't be caught, because he wasn't the one stealing it. He could, theoretically steal it, but fears the long arm of the law. And if he wanted it stolen, there are many ways he could have found out. It's likelier that he would discover where it was if he was trying to steal it than if it was stolen from him."

<Why exactly are you refusing to return an inefficient weapon that fires sticks, which was used to nearly murder someone?>
((I'm not sure what it's firing, where it is, or what happened to it. So many conflicting signals...))

"And why does he need to get it back now? And why does he need someone else to do so?"
M'Ber sighs. "In the end...the simplest explanation is usually the likeliest."

M'Ber rolls his eyes, considering.
"Did he ever explicitly say it was his?"
"Explicitly? No. He no use dirty words."
"That's not what explicitly means!"

Rillsim pipes in, having neared the two of them a time ago and listening until now. "It is folly to assume the worst intentions, good M'Ber, for we have no proof that the 'lizard' was lying, just as we have none that he told the truth. In the absence of such, promises should be kept."
"What he said. Now if you excuse me, Smashy must go prepare for his epic quest to retrieve Lizard's Gem from Ulfric's room."
Smashy leaves the homeless shelter, and looks for a shop where he can spend some of his gold on supplies.
M'Ber follows.
"Did he ever say it wasn't yours?"

[4] You slip past the crowd and enter the hospital.
"What is the issue, miss?"
"Well, my arm broken-"
Quote
Injuries: Legs & 1 Arm Broken
"-But I can't feel any pain-"
Quote
Health: Uninjured (100%)
"-That not a good thing, right?"
((Oh dammit. Yeah, your broken limbs are okay.))
