The scientists noted, with some trepidation, that the mass of the slugs fired was considerably greater than the mass of the slug in it's whole state, by almost 33%. The scales, as far as they are aware of, were properly calibrated."Intriguing, isn't it? They can completely ignore the laws of thermodynamics, or else have an absurd reserve of energy."
((And I added Merlin the Persona))He doesn't find it.
Kyle decides to push Will aside and walk in before looking for the gun.
((And that's my cue to not read Dr. McNinja.))((O.O YOU NEED TO GO READ DR. MCNINJA! NOW! IN FACT I NEED TO GO READ DR. MCNINJA. BUT MOSTLY YOU BECAUSE IT IS AMAZING AND YOU HAVEN'T LIVED UNTIL IT HAS ENTERED YOUR LIFE.))((The confusion was mostly due to the fact that horseman is a term for someone riding a horse. You could have specified he was half man half horse. Also, he seems incredibly similar to Sparlelord from Dr Mcninja.))((What could I say? Too much Dwarf Fortress on my mind, what with the Antmen and Codmen and so on, thus I automatically assume that any "-man" species is a human/animal hybrid.
My character is not based on Sparlelord actually, since I didn't know who Sparlelord was until you mentioned him.))
Between church, family stuff, and so forth, I stayed up until 1:00 AM last night, or rather this morning. I took a nap this afternoon, but I'm still feeling tired. And I think I might be coming down with a cold or something. You cautiously place your hand on the side of the house...Erm, I only have the one hand.
[5] It promptly sticks, kinda like really strong static electricity. You place you other hand on the side and it sticks, as well. Within several seconds you're on the roof of the little structure.
"Careful! Don't fall off!"
"Well, okay. I won't complain about that. I hate being insane."You are correct.
Comply. Stay with the octopus-headed lady, who is presumably Hogosha.

Largely to avoid (or at least minimize) min-maxed characters, I limited the amount of major ability shifts you can have. (Think about it: +++ means that you never fail or even have only partial success non-opposed rolls, unless they're unusually difficult, and --- means you need an extremely easy task to avoid failure.)Spoiler: FedUps (click to show/hide)
Elves come pretty standard; they can have up to one stat with a magnitude 3 (either +++ or ---), two with magnitude 2 (++ or --), and need at least one stat with magnitude 0 (0).Your characters have two stats at this magnitude.
((Well, technically yes. But technically everyone misses out on a lot of things because I don't give them hints. Probably more realistically, you missed out on a chance for a quest due to the nature of the quest and your actions and rolls. Those three are not standard push button, receive quest style questgivers.))((...What would I have needed to do to get a quest? And would it be plausible for Kaybull to kill them in a fit of irritation?))
((Yeah, no one had the spare time to look up the effect. I was going to, but then Grate.((You say that like it's my fault I...okay maybe it was my fault.))
This goes against the whole 'human have no inherent magical capabilities', but eh, maybe it's misdirection. Or a case of literal genie.((OR, the humans aren't the one doing the space magic...
