I have first part of my matriculation exam of Finnish tomorrow. Pretty terrified about how it's gonna go, because I got shitty results on all of the practice tests.

After few days of practicing, I can hit clean notes with my harmonica quite reliably (highest pitched holes and 2-draw being exceptions) and can even transition between notes semi-reliably. Yay, I'm learnin'!

Whenever I practice, however,  I unconsciously squeeze the harmonica too fucking hard, which I notice when the pain starts to settle in the fingers.

Finally got the harmonica I ordered and I already even managed to produce a single note. Now to practicing.

Because I have just started playing it, I speak for its horror elements too much - although the atmosphere is generally somewhat creepy. But at least it isn't focused on shooting things; bullets are pretty freakin' expensive. There aren't too many "enemies" - as in things that attack you on sight - as long as you play as the bachelor.

Don't have olive oil in house currently. On unrelated note, when I first woke up with my ear blocked, I tried to clear the wax blockage with a cotton swap (yes, I know it's not exactly healthy or safe) and the if it is wax, it's deeper than I dare to stick the swap in.

Finally decided to pick up harmonica and ordered one. They were out of stock, though so I'll have to wait a while for it to arrive. I can wait.

Also made* a new avatar. Not sure if I like it, but I can't be arsed to mess around with it anymore.
