no!

Tell them the only way they can save their sorry souls is to sacrafice their king in your name!

of course this dosent mean well spare them all, but it does mean well get trainned soldiers and mages for our army wile generating a bit of fun for us :)

of course: we could just up right get the blackimps to destroy the keeps foundations entierly and watch as all those within are crushed in the collapse.

The titanghoul should be warped slightly to allow it to go into hibernation sleep when we dont need it. so we dont have to spend so much energy controlling it when its not fighting.

sounds hunky dory.

well make the map room on the bottom floor. so weve got an easy reference point then well have to count the block width of one side of the moat, so we can scale things down propperly.

congrats, any idea its location in relevance to the fort?

also: the moat continues to be dug. its a beasty. when its done well have to make a 'map' room for the fortress.

for the horrid wave

if we take our their magic support then itll be an open feild day to muck with their minds and dreams. we kill their magic users we can just straight up lay seige. :P btw: can we create a portable version of those teleportation stone circles? if not now then in future. since with one of those we can just stealth in, lay it down and bring in troops quick and easy -though well need to improve their reliability-

we can boost our might mentaly through sacrafice, we should tell our temples and worshipers to put more of their average praying in for the upcoming battle, gather as much power as possible. were going to lose some hamlets and villages eather way we play this, so lets grab all the peoples nearest our opponent and feast upon them to buff ourselves up? we cant wait too long, but weve got probably a couple or so days of breathing room. wich we can use in the meantime to get our black imps to lay traps secretly. They work underground all the time, any other minions would get spotted so it has to be them.

Unless someone devised a good plan to draw them to a specific spot, well have to go for the hilly area as vouchsafed by UR as our offensive post. Setting the forges to chuck out some sheilds would be useful. If we decide on an area we can put some effort into entrenching some seige weaponry in it, ie: a simple ditch and some stakes in the ground. Seige should target their ranged units as primery. since their the ones who will cause the most overall damage no matter were their positioned.

I agree with UR's plan to buff our troops. as for the dragons, we could make them flame the living hell infront of our army in the opening charge to break our opponents momentum, when the flames die down we can charge back. meanwile using a meagre amount of mental power to make disturbing shapes in the smoke would be an interesting moral killer. The titanmaw should be dropped right behind the enemy troops via dragon delivery as soon as they are commited to fighting the first line.

Gather the baneghouls and equip them with flails. These are blunt trauma weaponry that can turn a knight into a bleeding crumpled lump if we scale them up to baneghoul size. keep a good screen of lesser ghouls around them so that when they move to fight the knights, they have the normal ghouls as a kind of charge momentum breaker.

Sintaurs should spend the first parts of the battle acting as harrasment and skirmish troops, fleeing backwards when ever the enemy try to close in any sense untill they retreat behind the first line. give them some light sheilding and keep them moving at all times. so long as the longbows dont get their eye in and they dont get bogged down, they should waste a few opponents arrows and be a good harrasser.

the organiccrossbow weilders should be divided in formation into small kill teams with an ammo carrier and a melle sute of armour. their rate of fire is one of our best weapons for bringing down heavy armoured troops. a 40/60 mix of steel to bone bolts. -bone is lighter, if they get bogged down then we start having problems-

When the titanghoul is dropped and starts assaulting the back of the enemy infantry formation is the golden moment of oppatunity for an ambush strike by beastmen on the archers. since their large enought to shrug off some arrow fire and arnt particularly demonic, they shouldnt suffer as much as the average troops who are more deepened in our influence. the knights will probably react to the beastmen attacking the archers.

We should also send a mental message to the beastman horde plundering its way around the kingdom that theirs a caravan route behind our enemy they could take with ease. sure this brings them closer to us, but it does trap any survivors between our army and the beastmens, who will also act as a screen to any reinforcements. Be manipulative ^^

We should stagger any night time mental attacks randomly so even if they are prepared they dont get into a rythm. the aprehension from this alone will do wonders for sucking moral away.

can we, you know, decide on something? Take the items that have got the most votes and list them together. even if you dont personaly like it. then we can start with a sequence of events and decide on that.

248
can we get spys into their army? missinform them of the size of our forces, even if their only expecting 2/3rds of our army itll add to our advantage.

as for the tunnels and the titanghoul. Why not command it to dig itself into a pit like a sarlac from star wars? theyll ignore it and just walk round the edge, and when theyve split their line neatly in two we tell the thing to stop crouching in the pit and wreak havok right in the centre of their lines.
I doubt they would. They probably have their mages kill it. I also think it's  to late for spies.

well, we could make it burry itself entierly with a light covering. its maws probably big enought to swallow a good sized number of men when we tell it to pop up. and it does mean we can get the blooming thing to sit still since it cant see any food. The enemy wont be able to descern specific evil wile Krlnkir Yrlvnt is present, so getting detected shouldnt even have a snowballs chance in hell. We can quite easily turn over some small earth mounds to make the one with the titanghoul in it look not so sinister. shove a few ghouls in them so the enemy thinks theyve cogged on the true reason for the things.

Digging an undeep trench isn't exactly much work isn't. Though I doubt we will be able to do Armok fire suggestion, they'll probably use their own archers to blow it up before walking in to it. Fire is best delivered from the sky, either by fire imps or catapults.

Also, new idea, arm the dragons with bundles of steel(or stone if we can't afford it) bolts.( Long pointy sticks will suffice). Drop them in bundles from a height. Let gravity do the work. Since they spread out they'll be more effective then stones and it'll be much harder to predict where they land.

add fins and such forth to catch the air and make the point face downwards. Reduces risk of the missile slapping harnlessly sideways. Best made out of wood with a simple rock point. Fast and dirt cheep to get ahold of.

thats interesting nuke.... hmmm, so your saying if we be realy obvious in fortifying the first two locations and then move to the third, theyll quite happly jump on us in terrain we have the highest advantage in?

we dig down, and wile we do so we wall in the cavern entrances. thats the point of the dry moat, every entrance and exit you can see and affect. we still need to make a one way system from the gate to the otherside of the moat that we can close in times of emergancy.

If your worried about the caverns then help out with digging the moat. the sooner it is completed, the sooner all our problems concerning raiders getting in are solved when we wall all the entrances up etc. after that we just go out of the main fortress to mine. well have to work on a hidden mine system/outpost for our needs concerning that.

if the blackimps can do it, i suggest we let them dig tunnels thatll collapse on their own accord under the weight of a warhorse. That way we dont have to do anything apart from watch them charge. after that we can counter charge and wreck their shit.

Have the catapults behind the last line, but right behind it, just incase someone trys a flanking strike/raid to get them. as for the projectiles: Clay pots filled up with oil and with small balls of clay in them should do the trick. Hit ground+ smash and roll everywere wile on fire.

well, were about to go down deep enought to connect the main cavern with the moat floor, so when thats done well be able to get rid of the water elevator. untill then we kind of need it to get anywere near the moat floor. Were breaking into cavern roofs all over the place -i keep cobblestoneing up minor openings-

1+ to Ur plan.

But if anyone have a suggestion for a wiserway to use our Titaneghoul, I am open for it. It seems like a bit of a waste. Since the enemy mages are going to use everything in its might to kill it as fast as possible. And I am not sure if our beloved deamon could withstand 100+ mages and priests.

yes, but they are like little batterys. the more they all pour in on our titanmaw the less our footsloggers will have to dodge. And the easyer for us to extend our corruption.

After the mages exhaust themselves trying to kill the titanmaw would be the perfect time to go and mentaly strike our opponents, even slowing them down a touch would be beneficial.
