i come back to good ole dwarf fortress and find this gem!!!

SUPER GREAT WORK!!! KEEP IT UP!!!

glad to see this is working (and looking amazing at that)

There's also a thread in the Community fortress section about 2 people hosting a fort and adventure mode server apparently there are bugs tho

Problem solved. Have notice a big problem though, if someone zooms in or out in their browser, the game does it on the host end as well and can result in Dwarf Fortress freezing up until it's forcibly closed.

what you also have to do it change the texture in the df folder and update the raw file

Update the raw file? Could you explain further I've never had to do anything like this. Like if I wanted to change it to Myne? Rename Myne.png to ShizzleClean.png and throw it in the data/art folder and the DF folder? After that though, what do?

Ah yes, castes. Hunters, defenders etc. Pretty sure one of them could morph into the Queen variant when required.

Sounds neat. Would each hive have a Queen by default then? Also, is it even possible to have failure conditions in the game like if a particular creature dies, the fortress is considered destroyed? A hive without a Queen wouldn't function, the xenos would just go into instinct mode, wander off into the world.

Excuse me for being technologically challenged, but it is possible to change the graphics then yes? I'd like to change it to something like Myne or Taffer, how would I do that? I've tried replacing the Spacefox .png with a Myne.png renamed the same but that only causes a garbled screen as a result.

Tile size too small for any set I try. Myne, larger Myne. Anikki 16x16, larger than that.. what's going on? Used to work fine.

I think that being able to kaioken during super saiyan would be a problem if it were possible (which it isn't due to the way they both work; DF doesn't allow stacking syndrome buffs of that kind), mostly because Kaioken x10 + super saiyan would be stronger than Super Saiyan 3.

Thing is, there is a Super Kaioken. It's more like an inbetween. Though if you consider the card games to be canon, then.. Goku can use this Kaio-ken in combination with any of his appearing Super Saiyan forms: Super Saiyan, Ascended Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 2, Super Saiyan 3, Golden Great Ape, and Super Saiyan 4.

Turn air into a material that you first need to create to be able to use. You'd have to build a sealed dome with some form of pipe system to pump air everywhere. Moss if I believe correctly absorbs CO2 and makes O2 in return? Make farm plots of MOSS to create air before your embark group's air tanks run out. They come equipped with them of course so they don't die outright.

OH.. and picture this. There'd be various dangers like dome breaches letting air escape into space. Picture having to embark onto an ASTEROID. Picture yourself making a pretty dome base filled with rich oxygen, farm plots that produce food to make it self sustainable. But then suddenly..

An asteroid has hit your fortress! A breach has been made!

AIR IS NOW FLOODING OUT INTO SPACE, CAUSING ANY DWARF CLOSE ENOUGH TO GET SUCKED INTO SPACE AS WELL. You'd have to build doors to lock atmospheres in different rooms so they your entire fortress does not get destroyed in just 1 hit.

um.. ya imaginitive and all but I don't think any of it could be done currently.

Didn't say it was possible. I'm somewhat of a dreamer.

I like this idea alot. I love the concept of A.I. Something that we program that can make decisions of its own that will be benefitial. It's kind of like in The Sims where you can choose whether your Sims do most things on their own, or choose to make EVERY decision for your Sim in their entire lifetime.

While Dwarves right now are pretty smart, they don't adapt as well to the situation they are in. In a fortress like that, you'd want people that can quickly take over for others when the need arises. When one becomes idle, they should start searching for ways to become a benefit to the Dwarven community again. If there is a low supply of meat and the Dwarf is idle, it should go out and hunt but always keep itself safe enough.

They SHOULD have a mind of their own because it would make the game even more fun to play. Those silly Dwarves doing stupid stuff again.

So I've recently discovered and have been getting into the workings of Dwarf Fortress, but I find myself always asking questions even after watching tutorials. I have alot of mates on my MSN that I discuss games with, so now I'm looking for someone who I can also talk about Dwarf Fortress with. I really want to get good at this game because for something that looks so simple, its gameplay depth beats most if not all games out right now.
