Bobert will command Light Infantry D!

Bobert: "Alright men of this town, it's time to find your courage and protect Bobert. Fan out and take cover, Bobert will need to know where the enemy is coming from. We need to stand strong and provide cover fire to Bobert's allies."

>Light Infantry D: Take Defensive Stance
>Light Infantry D: Use Defensive Weaponry

>Light Infantry D: Take cover over a fanned out area
>Light Infantry D: Study surrounding area for possible enemy locations
>Light Infantry D: Provide needed cover fire for allies

Bobert: "There are no research materials for Bobert to study. Then Bobert must find some! Maybe first though Bobert should see if he can figure out something from the book."

Bobert> Read through the book to find a spell that Bobert can interpret or read.

303
Yeah, but I'm curious about the Statue we saw now. The Red and White eyes. Something bad. Really bad.

Bobert: "As yes, slowly Bobert will learn the secrets of this tome or I am not... Bobert McRobertson!"

Bobert> Consult with various research materials.

I'm tempted. Mine is my Mii... which would be weird...

If you guys want a good-neutral ending, I bet you have to recruit an angel on your side. Good luck with that though.

These are not your typical angels.

Their Lord is a she.

Bobert> Examine magic book and learn about the magic it contains.

Bobert: "Hmmm, this sort of thing doesn't happen to Bobert very often. Maybe I, Bobert, am finally getting somewhere with my research."

308
My name is Bobert McRobertson. I am a student at a local college. I'm researching local myths and found a piece of paper stuck in the middle of a old dusty book.

Yell to the guard, "Hey! You left the door open!"

Hasn't the loot generally been worth it.

I think the Warrens prefers giving us decent loot as the trade off for an economy that hates us, really powerful monsters that don't like us, and a GM who loves seeing us cry.

I mean we've gotten stat points, a sword, a TM, a ring, the Polar Eye, Polaris' sword, etc. And exploration yields more than just normal loot. There's people loot, like Yaos. And notpeople loot like that robot we temporarily recruited. To be fair, we don't have many options. But more loot means more options.

That has just made my day. Eye lasers for the win.

Utilities and 3rd Party Applications / Re: Stonesense: Usage Poll!

I don't find your current designation images clear. By just looking at stonesense I can't pinpoint exactly the rhomboid where they are in. So I suggest that for any designation you add a perimeter around the rhomboid and have no part of any designation sprite outside that. See how it looks.

Placeholder means something to hold a place until better stuff can be made. The stuff you see is placeholders, most likely thrown in to test whether or not the code was working.

After doing some *very* rudimentary research, I ended up finding that Seraph, in normal conversation, was Hebrew for Serpent. It also translates to "burning one". I have the vague feeling that this is relevant somehow. Then again, it could also just be that FFS took the name of the angels without taking so much of the implications behind that, which would seem to be how the angels work in the Warrens. Then again again, this is FFS. If it wasn't relevant before, it probably is now.

Another possibility is that Seraph or Seraphim(plural) were the highest order of angels in Catholicism. The Last Seraphim would imply that there is only one left. Considering we've been hinted at a self proclaimed god and the last of the highest rank of angels. Add in the Hebrew meanings and we got a direct link to Satan himself.

Perhaps the Warrens is Hell.

There are nine rings in Hell in Dante's Inferno. Maybe each dungeon level represents a ring of Hell with the Underside functioning as one of them or as a Purgatory. So there could be in theory 8 or 9 DLs. The final DL would be the innermost prison containing whatever the equivalent to Satan is in the Warrens world.

And that enough of me reading too far into things for today.

I thought that player built walls were supposed to be harder to climb than natural walls. I can't quite remember.
