Try halogen bulbs instead. Much brighter and more efficient than standard incandescent bulbs, but not having the flickering and blowing up problems that fluorescent bulbs tend to have (which are not designed to be turned on and off in relatively short periods of time).Iirc, the damned things have be experimentally proven to cause headaches and reduce mental functioning (which is kinda' hilarious/enraging considering how prevalent they are in schoolsI FUCKING KNEW IT.)
