A kobold just two-stabbed a giant to death with an iron two-hander.

I think I need to tone down the power of stabs. Just a tad.
Are you sure it wasn't just a lucky couple of hits? Even a fresh newborn dwarf can cave in a dragon skull if the RNG favors it.

I was wondering if I was gonna have to be the one to make a Fifth Element reference.

It's amazing. People are selling $50+ items left and right, but I can't find a simple 1 ref strange.

After playing TF2 for the first time since the new update, I've come to a conclusion:

These ducks seem kinda useless.
There's a new item you equip that counts the ducks you collect, and when you level it up, it spawns even more ducks. I've heard a bunch of speculation that at the end of the event, the people with the highest duck counter on their item will get something.

Also, the duckies are cute. They look like the class who killed you, and they make little quacking noises when you pick them up.

Which would you rather run the government in your country of residence?

1. Hardcore mobsters
2. Supremicists. Though the people on this forum are likely to think of the KKK straight off the bat, feel free to substitute a regionally appropriate substitute.

Feel free to elaborate on your reasoning. I'd encourage it, actually.

I didn't realize this was the oppression olympics.

.... Okay. You're completely wrong. It's called negligent homicide because they didn't follow procedure and were aggressively detaining a man for a ticket-able offence, and the murderer in this case crushed his windpipe [with a move the NYPD itself banned for causing undue harm to people during detention] enough to asphyxiate the victim and cause his death, according to the medical examiner assigned to the case. Thanks for trying though.
He was on probation, and, therefor, would have probably been put in prison again because he can't stay out of trouble.

Also, I've seen just as many sources saying he didn't have throat damage, and that the autopsy showed that he died of cardiac arrest.

Really? Bay12 is jumping on the Eric Garner bandwagon? Have any of you even seen the video? Y'all are talking like they beat him senseless with a baseball bat and strung him up with garrote wire. In the video, this was a relatively gentle takedown. He was restrained and held to the ground, then cuffed. He was not beaten, he was not slammed into the pavement, he was not shot. The only reason the chokehold was dangerous was because he had a completely unrelated medical condition.

As for the chokehold itself, it is against department policy, but is not against the law. The two officers deemed responsible have had their guns taken away and put behind a desk. But since chokeholds are not illegal in and of themselves, and they were acting in the capacity of a police officer subduing a belligerent criminal, there is no grounds for criminal prosecution.

As for the "I can't breathe!" statements, criminals do that all the time, regardless of weather or not there was actual injury, because they hate the cops and just want to stir up more shit. It might have made some sort of case if this was a violent takedown, but it very clearly wasn't.

Come on, now. At least the MB case had conflicting testimony, lack of footage, and the cop got off scott-free. Don't let blind rage cloud your judgement. Bay12, I am truly disappointed. I thought the bay12 community was a little more rational than blind bloodlust.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2014/12/02/opinions_versus_facts_124821.html - I like this piece about Ferguson.

But... those 'facts' are being pretty widely challenged. So you can hardly say they're facts unless you're being willfully ignorant of the evidence against some of those statements being true.
Wouldn't this render the entire debate moot, then? Obviously, none of the evidence can be trusted or not trusted with any certainty.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Ambassador can only 1-shot at close range. Without the damage ramp-up, it only does 102 on a headshot.

The napalm sprayer effect would only last a limited time before it burns itself out and need to be re-applied. The sticky launcher also has more range and damage if caught in the blast.

I guess I kinda had the scout in mind when I thought up the area denial effects. Scouts tend to rub me the wrong way. Never heard sniper referred to as an area denial class.

Pyro only has average movement speed unless you use the powerjack (which makes you take more damage), and outside of flare guns, is exclusively close range.

The battle engie is about not having to babysit your buildings all the time. The mini dispenser can still be taken out by killing the engie, but at least you can take it with you instead of spending all that time setting up in a new spot, again.

stop making classes do what other classes are supposed to do.
All classes have weapons that put a different spin of it's primary role, or even creating a secondary role. You might as well complain about spies having the Ambassador because it can headshot, or the scout having the Force-a-Nature because it knocks back like a pyro's airblast. All the functions I listed still don't measure up to a class who has it as a main focus.

the other two I don't really see the point.
The spy knife would make it impossible to take opponents out at a range, but would let you catch up to and stab things you otherwise would have little chance of hurting. The increased mobility, in general, is quite useful, and makes the spy more ninja-like.

The engineer shotgun is intended to compliment the Gunslinger and it's mini-sentries.

Also, the ferguson police are looking into charging Brown's stepdad for the 'Burn this bitch down' comment, which I'm not 100% sure in what context that was in, like burn what down. I guess it might be legit because inciting violence, but then again, heated moment?

I'm not going to make judgement on that because I don't know what the full context was and it was a heated moment and we have all said things that we don't mean when we're angry.
After the grand jury's verdict was announced, he started yelling "Burn this bitch down" into the crowd. The crowd was outside the police station at the time, if what I read is correct.
