I'd give this guys $60 instead of $20, they truly deserved the money and also.. the game is way more competent than a 'AAA' and they're charging way more for what it really is!

I'm really impatient for the game release!

I just want my dwarfs to gamble all the money they've earned doing hard-core smithing.. oh boy, then one of them goes crazy about it and kills the rest just because of the insanity of the gamble itself.

A really big update it will be, hope it's worth the wait and not so long like it was with DF2012-DF2014 :-D

I was thinking about playing this game until SC or Elite: Dangerous came up..

My nVidia 9800gt can't run it... thanks capitalism!

Urgh this seems a bit of a terrible money-grab from something that's already pretty ridiculously priced compared.
I mean they've basically just done an 'all in one' pack which they already done, and added a bit more modding support (which most games do free) and a story and then charged full price for it again. Even $20 (with all the expansions) for something which is just a re-pack and modding tools seems a bit excessive.

I hate to say this, but it does really put me off the whole product when they price it so harshly.

There are other ways to test the product, which I will not mention, that's why that 'back-part' of the 'industry' exists, so you can test the product before actually buying it (AND EVEN MORE IF IT'S HIGH PRICE)

I've been following it's own line since the very beginning of the announcement of the game (which was quite a good time ago..) and to be honest after all i've read from the matrixgames forums and the screenshoots / pdf's I can personally say I would love to buy it (but I can't, not for any money issue -which is not a great deal if you're buying a good game- but because my country's exchange policy doesn't allow me to buy foreign currency to make the transaction)

Tl;dr --> If you are not so sure about it, download it via many ways (torrent) and IF YOU LIKE THE GAME, BUY IT AND SUPPORT THE DEVS

Have a great night!

Actually you can make the font bigger if you click on the top of the window you are running LCS and there you can change the font size I guess.

Good luck

For me the BEST GTA for now is San Andreas, that history.. oh my god...

In characters Episodes from liberty city (ft. Yasuf Amir)

So i hope GTA V will be a mix of both.

Bump for glory!

Also this game had a few updates since anyone posted last but right now is in hiatus as the developer is working on a new game (which he wants money for, the monster!).

Gripes are that it's very much grinding and if your going to do personal combat you will almost definitely need to be saving and loading after dying lots, however to be fair the grinding gripe pretty much applies to all the spaced based open world games so I can easily live with it.

However it has nice pro's that it has a personal combat as well as spaceship combat so you can not only blow enemy ships out of space but instead board them, capture the crew as slaves and steal their cargo without most of it being blow up if the ship blows up. It also has quests which can be created by other people and you can run to get interesting scenarios to appear, perhaps even a full fledged campaign.

The combat is fairly fun but the system can seem a bit clunky as you can set the game speed from super slow to super fast in a 1-9 range and you will be needing to alter the game speed as sometimes in combat you need to slow it down to react quick enough and then conversely you will need to speed it up out of combat to make travelling through lots of star systems less of a chore. The personal combat has an interesting ranged mechanic which requires lots of manual aiming and lots of luck but allows you to aim your own shots to decide whether you want to headshot the enemy or shoot their arms to try and disarm them or their legs to slow them down.

Still overall I would say it's quite a fun game but does suffer from all open world space sims of being grindy until you get to a level where nothing is really a challenge, but luckily if you get to that stage in ascii sector you can make quests to create your own challenging challenges.

Free bump for that comment and for this game which i TERRIBLE FORGOT ABOUT!

Thank YOU and GOD for making this game coming back to my computer!

I know this is not close to any fantasy rpg or jrpg but you MUST try Sims Urbz in the city & Sims Bustin' Out BOTH for GBA

They have awesome histories!

I know this sounds paradoxical, but in a future we could have our own businesses?

Selling stuff, you know.. for the greater good of our liberal movement!

I have a full squad, all of them with high-end weapons and fully loaded.

Then just go and kill everything that step into my way.
