Managed to finish the first chapter at 2634 words, but I feel like continuing on to the second chapter. Taking a small break first; I've been at it for hours on and off.

1706 words in and counting. I've hit my muse, and don't feel like stopping. Unfortunately a combination of food and internet has distracted me for the moment. At least I'm over the average count needed to finish on time for today. Though, admittedly, my goal lies beyond 50,000 words, I still want to have at least 50,000 to win this year. I didn't even come close last year.

I guess I'll take a second shot at it, after petering of last year (damn you, senior year of high school). If anyone wants to add me as a writing buddy on the website, my username there is HiddenTruth.

Now, to decide what to write... I have a little less than two and a half hours until it begins here.

Except for the fucking white/Black one because white/black tokens is silly and OP.

Silly? Yes. OP? Not even close. It's not a top deck, and there's a reason for it. Isolated Chapel and the rest of the INN lands are more expensive because they've only been printed once; the M10 duals have been printed four times.

Yeah, I never could figure out how to use OCTGN. Cockatrice is much simpler and streamlined to use.

Are old cards worth anything these days?  I've got a massive box of old MTG cards from "The Dark" to "Mirage" that have been gathering dust for ages.

Depends on the cards, not all will be.

Anyway, to everyone ITT, I'd be up for some Cockatrice play. I play Standard, Modern, Legacy, Vintage, EDH, Pauper... you name it, I have a deck for it. I tend to be a bit competitive, so if you're looking for casual play, just let me know beforehand so I don't bring out my best decks.

Willow you consider stopping  these horrible puns?

Never! Not until we're plum out of ideas!

C'mon guys we need to spruce up this thread... the puns are rather waterlogged.

We just need to tap into our humor hivemind. Maple we'll figure something out.

Thanks for the insanity.

Thanks for the insanity.

Also inserting mandatory "So long, and thanks for all the fish!"

DF Gameplay Questions / Re: were-thingy attack

Also, what happens if someone is cursed with vampirism and becomes a werebeast?

I'm pretty sure that the two are mutually-exclusive because of specific tokens in the interactions.

Hey Gavakis, your a dick.

Seriously, no need for that. He's just being honest; Adventure Mode is more about the adventuring, not the daily life of characters. However, as much of a simulator as it will be years from now, you might be able to sort of do that? But I agree; you'd have better luck finding that kinda game outside the future of DF.

I plan on buying it the second it gets put in a reasonably close store. I'd also be down for multi player sessions, though I suspect we'd all be wizards. Also, hears to hoping you can selectively turn off party member dialogue. I loved Minsc and that one other dude, but Imoen had the sort of voice that got one considering a Van Gogh.

Direct Download only, not a physical copy unless I'm mistaken.

I kept trying to play the original with EasyTutu, but never could get far before getting frustrated/bored. It seemed so epic, but 2nd Ed rules in a computer game with very little explanation to help out just sucked for me. Of course, it's been years. So I'd be pretty down for a multiplayer Bay12 game in it, since I'll probably suck it up and get it to try once again.

Haven't done a MUSH in forever, and never could get into one long enough, but with all my free time nowadays, I'm interested. Looking forward to the alpha opening!

I may hate using tilesets, but this new feature may convince me to make tilesets for my mod... if I ever get around to it. Seriously, this utility is about the only thing that can help counteract my utter laziness when it comes to modding; it's just so, so useful  :P
