Shit's goin down in the town forums. I don't know why people are going batshit over one guy posting rules like "don't build a hovel" and "don't hoard stuff". In my last town we welcomed it when people tried to bring organization.

That's the town I'm in. The Mcat guy is just trying to organize people and help them out, and the rules he posted is pretty much common sense. Plus, he can't banish you, it takes 10 people to do it. What's your name in game?

Well I guess DF is like that, but the whole zombie scenario and scavenging for resources to build stuff is sorta different too. DF is less luck based I'd say. As for the single player version of this game, I'd gladly pay 10-20 dollars for it.

Haha, I guess that's a positive way to look at the situation GlyphGryph, I guess I'm just pessimistic. That'd be awesome if this could be converted into a single player game, where the player can direct the actions of all 40 citizens. I'd like to see how far I can go if it was all under my control.

My town has one guy who's trying to organize people, but in the first two hours we already have 8 help threads.. One guy went 6 tiles north, another guy went 5 tiles south.. Jesus christ these people are idiots.

You can sit and wait to try to coordinate with people to get into the same town, the game won't force you in one.

Hey guys I have a question. So on the screen where you can join a new town, there's two options and they're both locked for me. One seems to be the 100+ points town and the other one is just some random town thats filling up slowly.. Now if I click "join random town" it will put me in that latter town? I'm asking because I want to know the chances of being put with good people (ie you guys).
