I'm playing Adventurer mode with this mod and the worlds that i just generated doesnt seems to have Oriental civilization... all the other races like dark elves and halflings appears just right in race selection screen, but the Oriental ones dont... maybe they are named as Humans?

Any help?

DF should be rated M for Mature.

Thanks for the information on the Illithids!  I'm glad I accidentally made people aware of how their poison doesn't really do anything.  Still wondering if the blood draining actually does anything practical (Besides being really amusing).

Bile demons are surprisingly tough.  I thought they were just designed to leave a noxious cloud, but I like that they actually feel as tough as in DK (I was that player with the giant pile of Bile Demons and warlocks).  Haven't tried out any of the others, but vampiress' are just basically humans that are harder to bleed out, right?

Is there a specific keybinding for all this abilities or its just a passive feature?

... my humble wish to help...!

I just want to know what exactly is necessary to start making custom graphics sets for DF, using the question to offer my somewhat between humble and superior skills with a somewhat graphics editing software somewhat called photoshop somewhat developed by a somewhat developer somewhat called Adobe Systems (...). Maybe more humble than superior, but probably the sufficient to help ye mates out with whatever busy "schedule" ye mates have with ye mates mods..

Anyway, i'm here, available to do some good deeds to this oldy bastard beardy fatty dwarf somewhat tall named st. Claus, hoping he gives me a better gift this freaking year!

Actually this little yellow dots already came to my sight at the world map, but, for some reason, i've never pressed "shift." therein xDDD

Hail there... Is it normal that in my Adventure mode none NPC have family? Plus there isnt any Shopkeeper at any town, i already tried to trade with a Trader, but... well... he keeps saying that is better to talk with a Shopkeeper...!

I don't know if it is a bug/problem or whatever, i just wonder because i already saw some DF let's plays and compared to them my world feels lifeless.

Someone?

Almost every graphical set that i download and install replaces some in-game fonts like accented letters, doc, comma etc, by tiles...
With Genesis mod graphical version the female/male icons are replaced by a bag and an amulet. I want to know if the bag and amulet actually means something different than genders or it is just a replacement. If it is just a graphical replacement, wich is wich?

Hmm, yeah I've definitely noticed it not play something for a long time after loading a game, but I've also noticed it work as you describe. I was wondering if maybe the timing of when I start SoundSense versus either starting DF and/or loading my fort matters.

Yeah. You want ss to be already running when you load fort, it ignores stuff that happened before it was lauched.

Scrapes-05 fits well for a midnight bogeyman sight...!

Heya! Now that really helps, thks guys!

Iron, actually i've replaced the dwarf image of ironhand.png by an elf image of the humanoid.png and it worked in every aspect of the game map. I will just make a new ironhand.png for every type/race of character/adventurer set, then i replace the respective file for every different race i wanna play... by the way, there is some missing symbols and accented words, could it be the TrueType font support that is activated in my ini txt file?

What in the hell...? After this newbish combo i just discovered that my version of ironhand is .16, while my DF version is the .17 one... think that is the problem for sure.  :-[

Holy s***! Just found the elf graphics in raw file, what a noob xDDD
But, well, it still appear as a dwarf in world or not map.

EDIT: Oh, after i installed the Ironhand set, letters like Í, í, Ò, ò etc doesnt appear anymore, something wrong with the font archive?

I understand, but, if you can be more specific, like a link for a charset that have a little elf image for my elf character maybe?
I ask for unique charset for the different types of heros (human/dwarf/elf). I installed the Ironhand set, but it is specific for the seven dwarfs mode because, obviously, if i use it in Adventurer mode and create an elf character, this character will appear as a little hairy dwarf at my screen.
