Anyone know how to fix an error to do with my orbiting miner?

Code: [Select]
Error in OrbitingFleets
Error 11 was generated by aurora
Division by zero

I've tried changing his orbiting distance and even disabling orbit, but that doesn't seem to fix it.

So I managed to find a cave on the edge of a large city. Got it fortified with pits and fences and I've got enough stuff to last me a really damn long time.

By the way, Karate is incredible.

Yeah, I keep wishing SS13 would be a little more serious and have more longevity. I played it to death in 1 week, but the constant restarts made me loose interest.

What I would really love is SS13 where you build the space-station. Start with basic stuff, have to import food, keep building new rooms, isolating them... eventually getting machinery that would allow you to start getting food and/or other stuff, etc etc :)

Baystation12 can lasts for 6 hours easy. It's very RP heavy though, so it can get tiring after a while.

I remember a meteor gamemode we played once where the meteors were bugged and never stopped coming. They annihilated almost the entire station before the admins stopped it, and instead of restarting the server, we kept playing. We evacuated all the civilians to the mining base, gathering supplies on the way. Then we came back after the storm and began rebuilding. We actually managed to fully repair several sections, including arrivals and parts of medbay. It was great fun.

Oh, just found it. Thanks.

EDIT: Just finished all the tutorials. Only took about four hours. :D

Time to get to work on figuring out what to do now.

I'm also 99% certain that they came with the latest patch as well.

6.10?

I think I've already patched to it.

So I managed to install the game and ran through the tutorials. I was doing fine up until tutorial 9 on terraforming where I had to press F9 for a system view.

I got an error saying

Code: [Select]
Error 53 was generated by aurora
File not found 'Planetjpeg\a11.jpg'

It came up twice, followed by a runtime error telling me about the previous error (handy) at which point the game crashes.

Any ideas?

EDIT: Also, the install turned my firefox menu bar yellow.

Not an artifact but one of the Dwarfs engraved this...

Sounds like you've got a revolution stirring in your fortress-

Wall engravings are the new pamphlet...

Tear the wall down, tie the engraver to the empty tile and obsidianise him. Then, have the next up and comer engrave the newly formed obsidian wall with government approved messages.

From the OP's post history, it appears he is using the Masterwork mod and/or the Lazy Newb Pack. One of those mods probably has something that is causing this to happen.

It usually helps if people mention that in the OP.

I find a cap of 100 dwarves is usually a pretty good number. It gives you access to endgame stuff and lets you have enough useless beards labourers to contend with large hauling projects. You can also have a small military, just make sure they're trained and equipped properly so they don't die.

I personally like the higher difficulty settings. No crosshair (all guns fire at the centre of your screen without accounting for shaking and breathing), no third person and no visible hud really improves immersion. Third person is optional though, because it can be a pain in the ass to raid houses without it. ArmA2 never worked properly in first person.

I'll be interested to see your results.

The fact that you can fill your backpack full of water if you don't have a waterskin and still use it normally.

The fact that you can throw liquid water at the speed of light.

I'm not sure if it's possible, but can you (as admin) spawn waves of zombies? If so, I'd love to join in, spend a few hours gathering guns and equipment with other people, then find some remote hilltop and see how long we can hold out.

Also, do sandbags/wire block zombies yet?
