Great One Sheet
Name: Korhan
Core: Death
Appearance: A pallid reflection of a mortal (Species depends on the viewer), Korhan's garb is relatively simple and basic.
Personality: To be jolly, kind and caring when faced with an inevitable fate is a requirement when one's core is Death. To guide, shepherd and care for the dead as a mighty responsibility, and to be the endbringer for those mortals at the end of their life requires a certain temperament and calmness that few other 'cores' require.

My first issue with the iron is the need for a steam core. I'd prefer a regular artillery weapon to start with.

'Titanslayer' 75mm Mountain Gun.
The Titanslayer is the newest, nastiest piece of artillery to be devised by man. This rifled breach-loading artillery piece, designed as a 'mountain gun' (Read: man/mule-portable) fires a light 75mm shell over long distances and is, relatively speaking, an accurate artillery piece. It's primary munitions are shrapnel and HE (Armour Piercing having been dismissed as worthless; what kind of man could wear armour to stop an artillery shell?) and loaded as singular, 'quick fire' cartridges as opposed to shot and powder being separate components.

Angus Steam Man
Based on the design of the Walter-Wallace, the Angus takes things a little further in making the vehicle more combat oriented. Replacing the squishy and clumsy crew with a steam core powered computational device, the Angus is able to propel itself rather than needing human crew. While the machine's intelligence is basic, it can follow orders as well as an infantryman.

The large mass of the walker is also given life as a weapon in itself, between the improved plating distribution to protect vital components and joints, and the fact it now has arms and will use them judiciously to beat down what we tell it to.

Hrm. At the very least the core is stable. So we might want to deploy that on the defence in C-4

As for an attack, either A-2 or C-8 would be preferable, with my vote going to A-2

Fair enough, but it is still miles away compared to it's efficacy compared to how it it currently. But that part of the revision will be fixed ^^

Uh, it kinda is? Might want to check the update's note on the old reliable.

"New Reliable" Imperial Arsenal Revolving Rifle:
The old reliable currently has one flaw preventing it from being a truly stellar example of firearms manufacturing and performance. By switching to a newer metallic cartridge, and allowing the revolver chambers to be loaded from the rear rather than the front (the revolver chamber is still fixed to ensure reliability and strength), This should massively improve rate of fire and also improve the reliability of the carbine.

Guardian would like to issue a statement of dissent against the unprofitable plan put forward by the other SCC members, noting that such a colony is in a hazardous area and is unviable for a proper colony given the relative lack of economic potential.

I'd say it would make the game more interesting; it means the teams (Should the empire divide, which is impossible) can devote design actions to more wondrous and amazing creations.

EDIT: It'd also provide a weapon to which the teams can make designs around as well.

Well, Pre-WW1. More Franco-Prussian war than anything else. But I'll agree it might be a little difficult to do, though I'd say that it would still be worthwhile to do so.
