Actually, going in with an adventurer to clean it out sounds good for a reclaim afterwards
I don't think that's a good idea because they were the burst-into-flames type of clowns.

I recently lost a fort due to accidentally unleashing the clowns while I was digging for magma. Now I wonder if I start a new fort in the same world, will they come and obliterate it?

Make a campfire using g and then stand next to it, press shift + i and select your ice and select the option to melt the ice, and then viola you will have water.

If there is snow on the ground I'm pretty sure you can also melt that into water If you can put it in a container.

So my adventurer was hungry and I decided to kill a villager's chicken while no one was looking.

There were however some problems with that, first of all, all the cats and chickens that were near the area rushed to attack me, and I was too slow to run away, there were so many that while I was killing them I got boosted to legendary dodger and superhuman stats.

Apparently the villagers have telepathy because even though nobody saw my despicable acts they all knew that I killed their favorite cats and attacked me immediately. I ran to the next village but their telepathy extends over long range, the other villagers were hostile too.

I tried to run to the next civilization but I needed a place to sleep, so I went to the next village during the night and tried to sleep, couldn't, but I noticed everyone was sleeping, and interestingly enough you can kill people who are asleep without anyone waking up. I proceeded to kill the entire village in their sleep, racking up more than two hundred kills, but even though everyone was dead I still couldn't sleep there.

So I journeyed on and got killed by bogeymen in my sleep.

The default true type font is pretty hard to read but you can change it if you replace font.ttf in \data\art

I changed mine to verdana bold

0.34.02 Windows SDL.
Was able to generate the error, it only starts after updating the savegame.
There is something wrong with the save game updater I think, I got the same error when trying to update my .01 save before .02 was released

I have 18 companions right now and I don't want my bros to die like this

Is there a way to trick the game into thinking my save was generated in .16?
Because apparently ghosts don't appear in saves generated in version 31.16.

No, I meant how to completely disable them.
I don't feel like migrants sacrificed to armok deserve any memorials.
