...unfortunatly, it doesn't seem to work.
I keep getting an "application configuration is incorrect" error.

'cept all the ponds dried up. Then a Titan came, killed a few dwarves, and wounded twice that. In the end, a tenth of my population died, mainly of thirst.
Now I can start mass producing double-plus sweet arms and armour, but can't build a melee army without eventually losing most of the conscripts to training accidents.
So I'm wondering if there's any tool out there that lets you add water to a map? Or if that's too hard, maybe one that just lets you rewall like the old tool, but with ice? Then let it melt, or drop it, so you have water?
Also, masterwork copper bolts: bad idea, or really bad idea?

To say nothing of how utterly lethal a thrown peanuts can be!
You might as well be passing the gobo a crossbow!
Tho I don't think Dwarves will attack you for exploiting/executing their caravans, so you should be safe with them. Not going to help your immigration, tho.

Wait, building-destroyers can't go through walls? Sweet.

As for caring for tame animals, this is something that will probably become an issue for me. I love cats, so all my fortresses start with three kittens at minimum. Of course, they are multiplying (I thought kittens were cats, but right now, they sound more like rabbits (^_^;; ). They may become a problem for the game slowing it down, but I don't even want to consider messing around with them. And no, I will not put them in a cage or on a leash - you don't do that to a cat.

You can always cage them for transport, then trade them away.

The answer here is massively parallel production, especially if he has magma.

You can still stick any number of animals into a cage, if traffic is your concern.
When the nasties come, you send your lone Champion to hold the spire, while a tide of magma floods in behind the enemy army once it's into the valley, forcing it forward.
Alternativly, magma-valley, but coated with cage traps; nasties get caught, then roast.

...frak.
So much for the whole locked-door-in-front-of-every-lever things.
Anything liable to sneak past chained war dogs?
All but Quarry Bush(Rock Nuts grow into these) and Dimple Cup
Also, I've baan able to build plots and start farming befor the water evaporated from my farm rooms in past games.

Doesn't sound like this is the case, but it doesn't hurt to ask.
