Exasperation: Yes, divine essence can pierce a shell of divine essence. That however, costs essence itself. The idea was to make it not worth the cost to attempt to steal the essence of a dormant god.
"So a god's corporeal being is worth nothing to you? Good to know."
Annoyance: I fail to see how an attempt at an automatic system to make attacks on dormant gods less appealing, means god's corporeal beings are worth nothing to me. I don't even want to know what nonsense you've come up with now. Just shut up.

Cliche shakes his head sadly

"It pains me when a fellow deity does not appreciate the value of free speech. I pity any of the creatures that have to chafe under your rule."

Quote
The former shadow minister for Europe, Labour MP Pat McFadden, said Mrs May could no longer deny Parliament a meaningful role in what Brexit means.

Brexit means Brexit, Pat. Dumbass...

"And allow those of us with ulterior motives to use their bodies for selfish gain? Not on your life, bub."
Confusion: The entire point was prevent using their bodies for selfish gain. You are not making sense.
"Yes, that is your point. Are you going on record as saying that a simple coral shell is able to deter divine will?"
A coral shell made of divine essence for the purposes of protecting the god in question yes. Coral was simply to fit with the aquatic theme. You are being deliberately obtuse. We are gods, the material used does not actually matter.
"Divine Essence we all possess. Are you really so naive?"

Mafia / Re: Mafia Marathon (Semi-bastard) Round 18

The question this begs is who causes the paradox in this instance? I have no control over how you guys vote, but it's a paradox from my ability.

If you guys want to risk losing this round, though, fire away.

$$$

Price check on a race that has enough mechanical ability to build and maintain printing presses, as well as a very strong affinity with musical magic in order to be able to write excellent, widely appealing articles, as well as lots of charisma in order to interview people.

"Well, sir, that sounds like you know something that you're refusing to share with us, the people.

What possible reason could you have for remaining silent... unless of course you're trying to hide your involvement?
"

Cliche scribbles furiously.

A small man in a well-worn yellow suit, topped by a matching, ratty fedora flips open a notebook, licks the end of a sharp pencil and glances at everyone present.

"Alright, folks, listen up! Can anyone tell me what happened here? Why is there nothing where there should be something?"

Points his pencil toward Organech

"You! You seem to think that limiting space to four cogs will maximize space available, did you have something to do with this? Trying to force your agenda on reluctant denizens for some nefarious scheme perhaps?"

10316
((deeply upset there's no mention of Cliche on the opening blurb.

ragequit.))

I guess I need a bit more, just to flesh things out a tiny, tiny bit.

Description: The spread of information through the printed word.

There isn't one, presumably. It's a C+P job from the previous game's OOC OP, with additions for this one.
