TheWetSheep: Hypothetical scenario: You have a night ability that lets you choose 3 players, have one die at random, and learn the roles of the other two. Under what circumstances would you use it?
If I was scum, as soon as possible. Otherwise, if we mislynched at MYLO or if maybe there were three people I suspected heavily (though this is unlikely).
hector: Hypothetical scenario: You have a power that gives you total control over the lynch for a day, but only provided you were lynched the day before(the power revives you after that occurs). Would you attempt to actively use this power, and if so, how and why?
The useful part of the power is that I'd have to get lynched the previous day. I'm not entirely sure how I'd go about getting lynched, but assuming it happens, I'd get to examine the cases on the wagon against me because it would be likely to have some aniti-town sentiment on it. I'd do that in the night phase to be prepared for the following day, and then maybe wait a RL day to see what happens (cases continued against me and things like that) before revealing that I control the lynch.
This would allow people to convince me to vote for a particular person - or not, as the case may be - as I'm not a big fan of one person controlling the lynch sans input. I mean if I can't convince others to lynch the person I have a case against, there's something wrong with that case.
You are asking a lot of hypothetical questions. What do you hope to gain from them?
UXLZ: Hypothetical scenario: It's MYLO(the mod confirmed it), and there are 4 players left. You are a 1-shot day role cop who has not yet used it. One player is claiming to be a survivor, one is claiming as a player with a 1-shot resurrect used during the night, and one player is claiming to be vanilla. Who do you inspect? Or do you not inspect?
God, you're just wasting the ability randomly selecting people like that. Wait until it looks like someone's going to be lynched, then inspect them to see if they should actually be lynched.
fillipk: Have a question then. Hypothetical scenario: you have an auto ability that is detrimental to everybody. Would you prefer to keep it, given it also harms your foes, or would you prefer to get it removed in some manner?
If I was scum you better bet I'm keeping it. Same with most third parties. If I'm town then I'll probably get rid of it.
juicebox: Hypothetical scenario: you receive an ability that prevents you from winning while you have it, but is extremely useful for your win condition. How would you go about using it/removing it?
For the second one, I would probably claim it and hope that someone could get rid of it for me. Unless it was an inspect, in which case I wouldn't claim until I got useful results.
These don't include your most recent two hypotheticals, seeing as how you just asked them.

But I'll give you a follow through: I think, basically, what you're saying here, is that I should not be asking the hypothetical scenario questions because they don't benefit town as much as other questions.

As much as the other questions? I'm fairly sure that the purpose of RVS questions is to "shake things up", which is exactly what they're doing. In fact, they may be benefiting town even more by supplying me with ideas on how to use my abilities. Because I'm town.
While I appreciate the initiative in anticipating my thought process and where I'm going to go with it, as with TWS, don't put words in my mouth. However, I'll respond to that since it's a bit more interesting:
I note how you are trying to direct this little tete a tete in a direction you want it to go, but even then... how is this helping you to "shake things up" in RVS? What earth shattering revelations have your hypotheticals caused to get us out of randomly flailing, as TBF so aptly put it, and into actual protein-rich meaty content? You haven't followed through on any of your questions, whether they are hypothetical or not.
Nobody knows you are town, and another thing I note is how you point this out completely unbidden. How have your hypotheticals helped you to consider the alignments of the people answering them, either eliminating townies from your suspicions or adding scum/third-party to them?
You haven't followed up on any of the questions you asked, unless someone requires clarification or you asked for more questions like you did with UXLZ. This makes it look as though you are posting for the sake of posting, in order to look as though you're doing something.

Two. Because I haven't seen you post as much as the other players. Or it might be my bias based on having not played with you before. Probably.
Three. Fish hasn't produced enough content for me to make a good judgement on him, but hector's leaning scum a bit more than Fish. Because he's jumping on the really little things in order to "find scum".
Four. A player in this game, apparently.
The third answer is the salient one here, though linking back to the first one.
You say you want to generate conversation, yet you point out to someone who is not me that I'm focusing on the little things to "find scum", suggesting you don't think that's a very useful way of going about that. Why not ask me about it to clear things up?
Perhaps you would like to tell us how focusing on the little things won't help me discover someone's alignment?
Prior to this you say you don't have enough on TBF to get a read on them, so why are you not interacting with them more in order to be able to answer the question more fully? If you don't have enough on TBF, how can you possibly say I'm scummier?
I think at this point we should also note that I am voting for you, making you aspersion-casting look a little bit OMGUS-y.
