I guess I can join. All DLC 'cept Conclave (which may change 'cause sale) and the new one.

Right... a most bizarre thing happened today, and the implications are most unpleasant.

I received a letter. Weird ass claims.

Anyhow, internet searches for various things in the letter turn up nothing.

I'm quite paranoid about things like this, so I am now worried about wtf this means. These people know where I live :'(

Hopefully this is nothing more than a scam of some description, but man... man oh man.

What do you mean smaller force?

Also, knowing what DLC will be useful, since it could be pagans or some shit.

Not much of a partier myself, min.

You could always invite people to go out after a group meeting or whatever, perhaps to a bar or a restaurant/cafe or something. Somewhere which invites conversation basically. If you can't share your interest with someone while indulging in the interest, you must manufacture a way to talk about it!

't internet is also a good tool for this, looking for groups that share your interest in the local area.

I also like NRDL's suggestion of trying new things. As a n00b, folk'll want to share their knowledge with you. 'tinternet, local area. If it's a large ass college campus, chances are there'll be things in the local area. I believe you mentioned somewhere in another thread you occasionally fiddle, are there any sessions or something nearby?

Why won't you make friends at the orchestra?

Local gaming shops (of the tabletop variety) and maybe some bookshops in the area may be able to direct you to gaming groups of some variety, or there may be book clubs or the like on 't college campus.

One thing I have noticed about myself is I'm much better at talking to people if I have an interest in what they're talking about. This is more likely to get a hit if you're, you know, in a club or something of that interest.

You also have to make an effort with people. Relationship is spelled T-I-M-E, or some nonsense like that.

I don't either. At least not ones on the same continent as me.

Then again I'm a depressive introvert with occasional misanthropic tendencies, so I mostly don't care.

Also, I am amused that I was considered profound earlier :))

See that's the thing though! Most non-programmer layman folk work in base 10, so it's useful for them.

The weird thing is, I can't imagine anyone like that using Linux, or compression programs... so the question is why that shit exists.

My wife got checked all the time when buying games for me, even while I was standing there. I think the manager there just preferred a policy of checking everyone buying a mature game, even if they knew they were of age.

Well the kid got it right. That way no-one feels left out.

That was more to illustrate the direness of inactivity, but sure.

My vote counts for 7, byraway.

Day 2

21 hours 40 minutes remaining

1/3 votes to extend - Kilojoule Proton

Presently only vishdafish is voting, meaning origamiscienceguy will be lynched as things stand.

I'd have a better summary with flavour, but not really worth it with that spread and how busy I am today, with only access to a phone :P
