"He is not marked inactive but has done nothing in public."

"Is that proof of omnicidal tendencies?"

((Also:

The Tournament results are in! Following weeks of intensive (relatively) high-stakes games of many sorts, it is revealed that the top five Luckiest races in the tournament are the Arani, Ishim, Dagomoths (but not after their recent disaster), weird giant porcupines, and Beastmen. The five Unuckiest races are the Terminae, Porcelain Men, Katteros, Shimmerhands, and Anansi.

A winner needs to come forward else I can't give them a prize :o

"Of course, who wants to enter a tournament when they don't know what they might win? I sure wouldn't! The winner of the Inaugural Fortuna's Hand Classic will receive the fulfilment of a 100% Fully Guaranteed No-Strings-Attached One-Time-Only Non-Violent Request from the god of Luck themselves, me!"

Wasn't all that enamoired by Revengeance, but the again I don't particularly like the character of Raiden. Felt kinda of like a teenage fan boy's take on SUPERAWESOMECYBORGACTION. Particularly Doktor's "check out her tits, they're real" bit.

But yeah, Konami just putting the Metal Gear name on it so it sells.

roommates make everything more affordable.

and interesting

While I would point to Yoink in this instance as an example of "better the devil you know" re: housemates, I'm not sure things could get worse for Akura in that respect.

pisskop speaks truth.

Only to address the third sad, there's nothing wrong with feeling inadequate, it's more how you deal with it. You can learn from the things they do by socializing with them, asking questions and such. Clever folk like to show off their knowledge, min.

I may be forced to quit my job in the next couple of days because my stepdad bungled the insurance on all the family vehicles. His claim is that the insurance company just up and decided to cancel his policy without telling him and he only learned about it when his sister happened to look it up, but I don't buy it. Either he forgot to pay the bill, or just didn't with total disregard to consequences. Now he's refusing to allow my mother to drive any of the vehicles, though he is graciously going to give my mother a ride to work on his motorcycle, but that leaves me unable to get to work.

Is losing the job worth the hassle of being around home all the time?

Keep the job, look for a new one closer to home.

This wouldn't be the only alt-universe Metal Gear game though, would it?
It isn't an alt-universe game. The characters are transported to an alternate universes, somehow, according to the page Furt linked. Yes, that's right. MSF recruits going to an alternate universe to battle zombies is now goddamn canon.

Fight of Metal Gears would have been a better addition to the series than this nonsense.

That started out really badly and then got progressively worse until it ended. Presumably by crawling faster and quiet.

Water at our house is running brown. Once the water drains away it leaves a fine brown powder.

Lord knows what it is, it's almost as if there's just some dust suspended in it.
It's probably rust. That happens from time to time when they flush the mains in small towns or suburbs.
Don't they usually say when they're doing that though?

Didya receive a letter, GO?

Konami had the best series of stealth games in the world and managed to ruin it. Wow.

They had one of the most storied game devs in the world and they let him leave.

I met my wife on 'tinternets.
The moment you meet someone IRL they cease to be internet friends, because you have verified they aren't actually robot dragons.
Yes hello did somebody mention dragons?

But anyway I'm not a robot dragon. Just a regular dragoness here!
Would you be a robot dragon if this was cyberpunk?
I'm reasonably sure actual dragons exist in the Shadowrun novels.
Well, yes. But we're talking robodragons here.
I know, but you said if this was a Cyberpunk, would there be robodragons, and I said there are actual dragons, which are clearly superior to the robotic variety.
