What happens to races that don't have an afterlife?

Why little in the way of punctuation?

Anyhow, work is kinda nonsense. People are to be expected to work half their waking adult life. Bit shit.

No, just thinly-veiled threats Erdogan. He's trying to get the best deal for Turkey - perhaps just himself - and he doesn't seem to give two shits if he burns bridges in the effort.

"See, now we are in the situation where I couldn't trust you, because if you were doing anything to me, which I am not implying of course, you would not admit to it to my face and therefore your words cannot mean anything to me unless you would accept my sincere apology for the creation of the lucklings. It was meant to invoke your interest in the spirit world, but it had caused the opposite.

From the outside it always put a sour spot on your existance, if a mere rumour existed that you were so ruthless and went around killing my creations. Perhaps you would like to clear this subject yourself."

"Trust is a two way street. You assumed that the deaths of your creations were as a result of my actions, and presented no evidence of such before slandering my name to our brethren and my people. That doesn't tend to engender goodwill between parties. You present me now as a coward who is unwilling to act openly.

Yes, I did work against you after you created the Lucklings, but only by altering them, for which you gave permission. The Lucklings target the Gandtraelites instead of the Shimmerhands. If indeed they are dying because of this... well, you created them. You would only have yourself to blame.

An apology is only words, however. I would much rather you seek permission when dabbling in my Sphere - or anyone else's for that matter - in the future, that way you don't do something that could be viewed as offensive. Who knows, a collaboration may come of the effort.

Had you done so in this instance, I would have told you spirits hold no interest for me. Luck is the only thing that will make life better for people, not some nebulous hope brought about by ghosts.

"No, but you have accused me of killing your things before, sans evidence, so I wanted to make sure you weren't trying that again."

"How informative."

"He said several times that he isn't going to do anything to your guys! Do ya need a pirate translator or something?"

"That would probably prove to be quite useful. The dialect seems all over the place."

Also on attrition: The AI and attrition works a bit... interestingly. Basically, a force that is over the limit (20k in this case), but is composed of the combined armies of different independent rulers who each have less than that limit will not take attrition. This does not apply to the player. If you have 3k and a 18k AI stack walks into the same province, you WILL take attrition.

I thought that bullshit rule was only in EU4
It's necessary, otherwise stupid AI allies will march their superstacks into places you're besieging, wipe out half of your army through attrition alone, and then leave with your remaining army being too small to siege the holding. That's never happened to me specifically because of that rule and I pray in thanks to the one true God for that rule.

No, that is exactly what I am talking about. Teneb said that that is currently what is happening.

Also relevant, are you playing as a pagan?

Nope, Byzantium. And I still don't know how my muslim empire neighbor was able to declare holy war on an entire kingdom.

That's how Great Holy Wars work, so things like Jihad and Crusades and such.

There would likely have been an announcement of that, along the lines of "Caliph such and such has declared Jihad for [kingdom name], and calls all right-thinking Muslims to join him".

KEEK is a good word.

On one of the 2 points at which the lines of the star intersect, then.

Or in the middle of the lines that make up the pentagon in the centre.

You should've put E's at the points where the lines of the star meet.

Failure.
