And yes, because killing people arch-conservatives is an obvious means of furthering the Liberal Agenda!

"Sounds like a painful position to be in. Knowing that you have to do something you're going to fail completely at later or else unpleasant things may happen to you, temporally.

Somehow I find myself laughing at the fool what did it!

"It sounded like someone tried to travel back in time in the future and didn't quite make it!"

Look around for all the various gods, see if anyone is missing.

Wullie clumsily [2+1=3] plants the seeds, failing to plant two of them, and instead rendering them unusable. Only 3 more nights of sleep until they are fully grown. He then heads to Irathil's house, where he is greeted by a warm smile. "Oh, hi there! What can I help you with?"

Energy:90

((Wullie confirmed as awesome, failing to plant seeds :))))

The fantastic fox flashes Irathil his best "schmoozing" smile.

"Good day, Mr. Mayor! I just wanted to go around and introduce myself to the wonderful people of this settlement, and maybe pick their brains about life around here. If there's one thing I learned in my time as a diplomat, it was that the briefings we were given regarding the regions we visited were so... so flat, they could never capture the essence of the wonderful places to which we traveled.

Anyway, I'm such a ramble! Speaking of which, I was hoping you could spare some time to show me around? Perhaps tell me about this wonderful little gem of a village you have, and about the Charaks that have brought us all here? I'd be ever so gracious.

Wullie

Wullie thanks Jeremiah for the seeds - no reason not to cultivate good relations right from the get go - before quickly setting things up in his house in order to make it home.

Afterwards, he decides to plant the turnip seeds in the garden.

Once he has finished this task, he cleans himself up, and decides to visit Irathil to ask him about the town and the surrounding area.

Oh boy, it's the off-brand Loud Whispers, now with poorer fact-checking, and a disbelief in the human right to life instead of epic banter.
Hey, that's my job!
You should file a lawsuit.

I'm not entirely sure they're getting preachy. Seems a lot more like piss-taking to me.

It's not a great big deal, it's just a wtf that the room I'm in is so much warmer than outside during the hottest period of the day :)) cheers for the advice anyhow.

Don't know if the PC is producing that much heat (there's 2 fans, I think, blowing air out) but there is minimal ventilation in this room. I have a desk fan and the window open, to little avail.

Then there's me moving about the room, that's probably getting a lot of heat kicking about.

I could move the computer out of the room, but then I have to worry about the cats. They aren't allowed in this room (various things that might do unpleasant things to them that they will invariably try to eat) and there's cat hair all over the computer case anyway.

Pretty sure it's just a hellmouth. Maybe a geothermal vent or somethin'.

Might want to get that looked at. I hear the rates on exorcists aren't too bad this season.

I'll look into it :P

It is nearly 90 degrees F in the room I am in right now.

It is 74 degrees F outside.

Fuck.

That's about where the liver is.

Not sure it would necessarily be the liver, but if you're worried about it, doctor visit may be in order.

Noticed that someone had edited in a request for a link to that Jeremy Corbyn interview I mentioned a couple of pages back; here it is.

Also worth watching to see him lose his rag with Jackie Long not once but twice (I could understand it if it were an annoying twat like Krishnan-Guru Murthy, but Jackie Long's one of the better C4 news presenters). He's not exactly a charming fella, that Corbyn.

... there was a recent interview with Jeremy Corbyn (leader of the Opposition in my country) ... It reached a point where the reporter was repeating to Corbyn 'But voters have told you what they want. They want less immigration', and with a angry sneer on his face, he snapped at her and basically said 'We know better. They might think they want that, but we know what is best for them.'

I thought you weren't responding to me no more.

He neither said nor did what you said he did.

He got annoyed with the reporter because she interrupted him (second time was more amusing since there was a massive pause between him talking and her "interrupting") and he never said anything near to what you said, even by praphrasing... Are you a non-Labour version of Alastair Campbell?

Granted he didn't answer the question either, but that's pretty much par for the course for politicians. The very famous Newsnight interview between Jeremy Paxman and Michael Howard is a fantastically amusing example of that.
