"I was thinking more along the lines of creating a catapult as the good man desires and then calculating the likely spot of arrival, where a vat of enchanted jelly could be placed so that the Fhortan could arrive safely."
Fhortan has blessed the thrill-seeker with unimaginable Luck. The Thrill-seeker proceeds to test the new Luck, managing to be five of the many winners of the local lottery, to survive a landslide narrowly, and to wash up back in Fhortan lands after making a shoddy boat and sleeping in it while on the nearest interlayer connection.
The Fhortan fhauxlosopher leaves to ponder Luck.
Fhortan builder: "Because it's much faster, people often travel to fun destinations when the catapult malfunctions, and there's always a convenient pile of mush to land on at the market! Where does hurting come into this?"
You're unlikely to be able to find absolutely no doubt in any judicial verdict, which is an issue when you have such an absolute punishment as death. It can't be reversed if any new evidence comes up years down the line.See, the thing about locking up someone forever (or until someone "qualified" decides they're "better") really doesn't sound like something that complies with human rights.Without due process of law, you are correct. With it, it is a perfectly justifiable way to keep dangerous criminals from further harming society. Personally, I see nothing wrong with hanging terrorists and mass murderers, as long as there is no doubt whatsoever in their guilt.
Lost another amateur fight. Unanimous decision. Wasn't anywhere close, I got my ass kicked. Nothing to do but keep training, it's still pretty painful watching the footage.
I would not consider myself an idiot, yet that happens to me all the time. In what way is that punishing you? You lose how many seconds to move the mouse and click the back button? Whereas people who accidentally hit that key and go back a page (granted, usually it isn't lost if you go forward again immediately) tend to lose how much time?Fucking Windows taking away my fucking keyboard shortcuts. Backspace no longer makes my browser go back a page, and the alternative shortcut doesn't work.Yeah, Chrome devs disabled it.
Thanks Obama.
Still works on FirefoxQuote from: idiot devThe reason we're making this change is that users regularly lose data because they hit the backspace button thinking that a form field is focused. After years of this issue, we realize we're not going to have a better way to solve that problem.
What users? Idiot users. Punish the people who adapt to a problem by changing their fucking behaviour instead of blaming someone else. I don't even know why I'm so furious about this.
Looks like I'll be giving Safari a try. Try that for a change in behaviour.
Then again, I never really use shortcuts anyway. *shrug*
but I didn't because it's a stupid decision. There are multiple alternative (alright, two other) delete keys on a keyboard, and you could also highlight whatever you want to go away.Fucking Windows taking away my fucking keyboard shortcuts. Maybe less embarrassing than having people encourage him to touch a butt or threaten flirtation. What the hell happened while I was gone?So much incest.
Combat in CK2 is pretty complex, all things considered. It's a right shame we can't see flank composition before battle, though.
A whole bunch of stuff goes into it yeah, but at the end of the day its mostly who outnumbers who
not necessary just yet, but it'd be nice for when the game's about to start.
