I just ignored them.

"I yield, I yield!"

"You shouldn't have started it then" *stabbity stab*

My advice is to start with classic openers like:

"So what's the deal with airline food?"

"Your boobs kind of look like papayas."

"Hey, does this rag smell like chloroform?"

"Do you have time for our Lord and Saviour, Jesus?"

You do weird shit in Asia if they're regarded as "classic" :P with the exception of the chloroform one. I have used that one to great success. /probably joking

Needed to try to fix printer as printer was no longer detected by computer (wireless) and considering my need to scan a shit ton of documents for muh lawyer by Wednesday (technically Tuesday if I actually want them to look at them) it needed to be done.

Expecting a long ass Google rabbit hole to be necessary but no, press button on printer, printer detected, printer connected.

Why did this not work on Monday..?

Hairless pink apes were discovered.

Fhortan builder: "The Jannah representatives say it's impossible to get to Jannah by catapult! How is it impossible?"

"Ha! Nothing is impossible my friend, merely improbable.

I would question why, exactly, you would want to travel to Jannah via catapult. It seems... unnecessarily complicated.
"

Sadiq listens on to this conversation. "Friend, let me help this little one with his dream! It is a most worthy thing, yes?"

"What did you have in mind?

I'm not sure how much you could help, to be honest. Good engineering may create a wondrous, efficient catapult, but it'll do diddly squat to help this being survive the trip.

It would probably be wise to inform the inhabitants of Jannah that a flying Fhortan is about to make a visit, though.

Fhortan thrill-seeker: "Make me the luckiest in all the world!"

Bless this dude with Luck

Fhortan fauxlosopher: "Does luck really exist or is everything already predetermined?"

"It pains me that one of my own children doesn't understand my distaste for fate...

Luck exists. Consider 3 craftsmen of identical ability, who attempt to make an identical pot. They will each make a pot that will have various small differences, perhaps as a result of using slightly different means to decorate the pot, different tools, or minor differences in the materials they used. These differences, at a very basic level, are down to Luck.

Why did the first craftsman use a particular material from a particular place? Perhaps the second craftsman discovered a different way to use a tool, or the third craftsman was having a bad day. There are so many variables that Luck can influence that fate can't keep up.

Thatcher didn't go so far as shooting Brits in the streets.

Argentinians in the sea, on the other hand...

So, does the NZ military have any health requirements, specifically that regarding mental health?

As well as my fully armoured dude taking 82 damage in Mount and Blade from a frickin' javelin.

High-strength thrower, probably a few ranks in Power Throw, and piercing-type weapons are supposed to ignore at least some portion of armor protection, though I don't know how much. If you were charging directly into it on horseback, your relative velocity also adds to that.

I was, but it was a Taiga bandit :-[

Had I been at full health, I would've just survived.

11339
Not that I'm aware of. I've always thought of you as the polite young man who finds me awfully suspicious at Mafia.

11340
What.

I guess that's my wtf.

Or, perhaps, where tf.
