People decided to give these guys power.If you'll excuse me, Turkey and The Phillipines aren't exactly world powers. Worst they'll do is pull either a Saddam Hussein and invade a neighbour or murder everyone in the country. Nobody really bothers about those things until foreigners start getting caught up in it.I'm concerned about the people in those countries, not what the leaders will do to other countries.
This does not mean I want anything awful to happen, nor would I be against intervention if it does. Erdogan, for the time being, is probably realizing the media outwith Turkey doesn't spin things the way he wants them to, and I haven't heard much re: Duerte beyond him being mad conservative.
