Of course. Would you like to risk being shot if that doesn't work?

I'm pretty sure that the person who got shot disclosed that they had a firearm and said that they were reaching for their wallet.

Although I'm not sure of that.

I do feel the need to point out humans are quite capable of deception. Just because they said they were doing something doesn't mean that's what they were actually doing.

You can't shoot to incapacitate. You might get sued.

Also, training.

More pointed lessons come in the form of hands-on exercises. One common scenario teaches officers that a suspect leaning into a car can pull out a gun and shoot at officers before they can react.

Though for balance, if you don't read the bloody article:

Quote
In most police shootings, officers don’t shoot out of anger or frustration or hatred. They shoot because they are afraid. And they are afraid because they are constantly barraged with the message that that they should be afraid, that their survival depends on it.

GDQ is apparently not about speed runs no more.

Some dude playing Trials Fusion, just showing off custom tracks. Not even providing commentary.

This is apparently going on for 90 minutes.

So long as y'all are getting enough sleep to not be tired all day and not so much you can't get to sleep the following sleep period, I imagine it's "hygienic".

Well the day is over, so I will wait to respond to that.

Not only that, it comes in literally 5 minutes short of day end.

That doesn't look OMGUS-like, not at all.

And yet the AC series (at least ACII) has a much more confusing control scheme than Arkham Asylum/City, iirc.

P.S. Of the AC games, I only played ACII and ACII:Brotherhood

Nothing changes for combat, afair. I think they maybe added bits after ACIII, but not much. All the AC games play more or less the same.

Assassin's Creed has no combat system. All you do is hold block and ocassionally hit the attack button.

There is pretty much no similarity between Arkham combat and AC combat, beyond the existence of fighting in the games.

People rarely care about those religious values.
It's just "hey christian values are good" and everyone nods while most probably didn't even visit the church on sunday in several years.
The problem is that no-one can agree on which Christian values are the good ones and which ones are not

No, humans are fallible. It's all down to the bible, bro. Totally legit document on which to base all your moral decision-making

Swords are pretty good, at least way back in the .40d days... also attacking folk with the flat side of any weapon is perfectly legit, why do you think it's silly?

That's how babies work. They are essentially parasites.

What information did you give the town? You basically just shrugged and grunted, yet you're demanding the rest of us answer the question completely.

As for finding scum, we need people to talk. Perhaps Starver would like to interject? What are your thoughts on proceedings? I recall there were a few games in which you were really quiet and turned up scum. What assurances can you give us this isn't the reason for your silence this time?

It may well be Jobseeker Support bothering him. Unemployment benefits generally hinge on actively searching for a job, ostensibly so people don't just live on it forever. Not that unemployment benefits are by any means livable, mind you.

+1

Also, insomnia: pills are not a good idea. Work wonders in the short-term, but you eventually become tolerant.

Sleep hygiene is the way, min, and a bit of discipline. Getting up at the same time every morning will eventually kick your body clock into some semblance of order, so then you start getting tired around the same time at night.
