A most helpful response in explaining how I'm wrong, thank you. I feel much better informed.

Er... sovereignty? What sovereignty does the UK have when they have to abide by rules they have little influence over? They're one country of 28.

Anyway, The U.K. is still in the EU into further notice (invoking Article 50, which won't happen 'til at least October, and will take at least 2 years from the point it is invoked) so they still retain all the benefits of that membership until they leave. The EU could be completely bastard and cut the UK out, but what would be the point? Letting the world know you're a spiteful bunch of idiots isn't exactly going to endear anyone to you.

I was watching Canadian football, and for some reason I can't fathom, the Edmonton coach called a timeout with one second left when it looked like Ottawa were about to lose the game being unable to set themselves up to kick the tying FG.

Edmonton lost in OT. Like... are Canadians just really that nice they're willing to lose a game in order to be polite, or am I missing something? (quite unfamiliar with CFL)

I'm not saying that older people voted out of spite, but it's a lot easier to vote for high and mighty principles like ARE SOVEREIGNTY over economic practicalities when you aren't going to have to endure the negative effects on the jobs market and cost of living for 40 years.

I don't think it's that simple, really.

Anyhow, this is literally going to be the precedent, so nobody can know what the effects are going to be - positive or negative - for a good long while yet.

So... what 'bout the UK in the EEA/EFTA?

Also, I read somewhere that invoking Article 50 requires approval from the Scottish parliament, though I can't find it again :'(

I do believe the day ended 2 hours ago (Saturday 1pm PDT) so... I think Moonlit's TBF vote was late, and 3 posts of lateness too. I have been wrong before though so... bugger.

Also, 2 hours left guys; if you can vouch for Starver, Moonlit, you don't want him lynched, methinks.

Unless one of them is neutral and the other scum.

Perhaps Teeds is the evil role, and all this blocking is so he can't be investigated... What say you to that, DarkStar?

I think we need a claim from Moonlit and Starver, please. The traditional 3 day limit means we can at least debunk fakeclaims on D3 with a full claim today.

I'm the investigative role. If someone I target visits me, I find out what their action is. It doesn't count as a visit, which is why Moonlit asked me who I visited at day start and also (I assume) why his action failed. Also why I asked Starver to visit me during the night. He has cleared TBF, which is why I wanted to target him, so I could (hopefully) clear him and TBF for myself.

I think Moonlit's action finds out something about who his target visits.

I targeted Moonlit N0, so I know he didn't visit me, and Starver N1, with the same result. I was poked in the night, so I know TBF visited me. This concludes my knowledge of the game so far.

We live in interesting times.
Apparently analysts fail when the dissatisfied public is falling into an extended, maddened frenzy.  Will naked id guide the world into a golden age?  I guess we're going to find out whether we like it or not.
I'd much rather read about interesting times then live in them.

It is pretty easy. Once you get the tranquiliser rounds (whatever the rounds that don't kill the aliens are called) you won't use anything else.

You gonna get a job with that medal or awards? :P
